I have two friends who run in the marathon, thankfully Mary did not participate this year and Michellle was there but was not near the finish line...she is fine, but the situation is very very sad. Horrible thing. Hopefully other forum members family, friends colleagues are all fine.

Thank-you for making this post.

My friend took part in that marathon. Finished early and my aunt and uncle left with her. If they had been there 5 min later, they would have been lost forever. It went off exactly where they were!!!!!!!!

My heart and prayers go out to the victims and their families. This was too close to home. I could have lost ...!

I hope God grants me the courage to face things I cannot change. But right now, I feel terrible...

My prayers for all those living in boston and for those familes who have lost their friends and familes in this blast, may God grant them patience and give them courage

To all our brothers and sisters lost in this blast may God grant them heaven and may God grant their families sustenance
