J-J, whattay restrained and kind Take 1! 👏 👏 I wish I could be feel so benign. What was a vague sense of disquiet from the opener just feels much more like outright unease. So here's my totally unsolicited piece of advice for the show-runners - give your writing team a new brief, a fresh perspective or just add a few new creative voices.

This episode was plain lazy writing! I know this is not meant to be a morance to set our hearts aflutter (and no comparisons to any other memorable show or jodi --- in all seriousness! 😃) but this was textbook writing in how NOT to start a morance - scatological humor albeit with a cute dog in tow. 😡

@Ash-Ash, just yesterday we were talking about keeping the double barreled names/terms in check - ChanChan, puchpuch, YaYa, tuntun --- well today we got susu!

Nothing against using a TV show to bring awareness to the social scourge that is dowry ---- in fact I'd go far as to say it's an admirable goal --- but it's all about how it's done. If evil saas-crusading bahu is the only lens thru which every single dramatic high point is set up then it's just boring and unoriginal especially if we get a holier-than-thou preachy spin.

Ya # 1, I hope very much for your sake that the writers are able to shake off the tired, cliched tropes and write something fresh and fun. As one popular TV character said to us not so long ago ---- lambi saas andar, lambi saas baahar phekho... I'm watching you writers * finger poke in the eye* 😉

Ek prashna since Sony is new - knowing the lay of the land! - The show airs M-Thu is about 25 min long. Is there a concept of ME or not?

Sony on and off does random ME's...not consistently though...and very rare...

Late on the Chanchan bandwagon and missed the opening epi but looks like a mixed response to it so far eh. I'm a fence sitter on this too for now with a slightly higher inclination for keeping this an ocassional watch. And yeh jaante hue bhi ki this is early days I'll say the male lead is well cast- he's likely to quickly fade into relative oblivion leaving centrestage for Ya-Ya to battle it out in the screen dominance stakes.

I'm tad disappointed that in a departure from the supposed (and absolutely delightful if I may add) 'inspiration' the MIL here is shown to be on the wrong end of the ethics spectrum as opposed to only being principled if irrational and unrealistic.

Oh well as sasuma always says- front front see bhat bhat...And with Sanaya's heartwarming smile and lovely countenance..utna bhi bura nahin lagta😉

Long time, hope you doing well.
Looks like it will be an occasional watch for me too; though i will give it 2 weeks before i decide just coz seeing Sanaya for the past 2 days has been making me smile, is bringing back great memories and making me feel warm n fuzzy😊

On the brighter side J, neither seems likely to even come close to being an addiction. Thankfully!
