No, I am not talking about KTH. But I'm talking about Kabir/Aditi.
This song, or the main line 'Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai, Thoda Hai Baaki' suits Kabir/Aditi so well.
Let me explain.
Yes, Aditi has made it clear to us that she is back for revenge. I don't know what the CVs have in mind, but from the angle that I am looking, it is not at all about revenge, it is all about love.
Yes, she wants to hurt him, she is hurting him.
Remember her thoughts on Friday's episode;
"The more I will destroy you, Kabir, the more you will love me"
All she wants for him is to love her, is to scream out 2 things
1. He did not kill Aditi
2. He always loved Aditi & still loves her.
That is all she wants. She wants to break him, wants him to fall in love with her so bad, that he will no longer be able to hide his feelings & will be compelled to go weak on his knees & confess his love.
Have you seen how she looked into his eyes when he lifted her outside the mandir? That eyelock, for a few seconds, was so genuine. It was filled with love.
But as soon as reality struck, she got back to her 'revenge' mode.
Somewhere she knows that he loves her. The way she is able to find out that he will come behind her, the way she knew that he will hurt himself to save the chunari. She knows he loves her. But she is not accepting it. Why? Probably, because she never trusted him. The moment she heard that he married her just for money, she went still. She did not hear the rest of the conversation, she did not even bother asking him if it was the truth. Yes, its true she did see him shooting the car, she did hear that conversation. But despite all that, she did not even give him that benefit of the doubt to ask him.
The issue I have is not even about whether he did kill Aditi or not, whether that was the truth or not. The issue is that even before a criminal sentenced to death, he is asked to sign on a statement & given a chance to confess to his crime, but Aditi did not even give Kabir that liberty. She did not even bother questioning him. Whether she would believe him after that or not, is not important. The important thing is about trust.
I don't doubt her love for Kabir, but probably, she never understood him. Because if she did, she wouldn't have remained silent & not asked him. She wouldn't have mistaken the love he had for her.
So, right now, I hope that as Neha, she starts to understand him. I doubt that, though. But I really want that to happen. And for the 2 of them, the love is still very much alive, on both sides. Even though both of them have locked that side of their hearts, I hope that love will find a way & that Aditi will be able to revive the Kabir that once used to smile.
Because.. Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Tha, Thoda Hai Baki.
P.S As much as I am loving the current episodes, I really hope that this show does not just turn into a love story. I am missing the thrill element. CVs, shed some light on Rani's husband, Sarkar & Rishi please.
And yes, sorry for the rant.
