This is the Shiva Ratri memory that is the reason for my rant above.

Shiva Ratri Rant

How nice it would have been if Aiswarya Sharma did not enter GHKKPM!

Then there wouldnt have been any trouble or heartache for SaiRat shippers like me.

Neilsha would have become very good friends. They are friends now also but then they would have been really uninhibited in friendship.

This Shivratri brought memories of last Shiv Ratri when Ayesha posted SaiRat with the caption of My onscreen better half, liked by Neil.

There wouldn’t have been any fan wars if some classy actress played the role of Patralekha.

Neil wouldn’t have got this much hatred, for which directly and indirectly Aiswarya is the reason.

People would have enjoyed SaiRat played by Neilsha with mental peace.

The day the Roka announced I stopped watching them together off screen. I follow it strictly even now. I didn’t watch his marriage.

I wont watch Smart Jodi . A big no.

How nice it would be if this one year proves to be a dream and I wake up from sleep to see only Neilsha without that lady!

You're so correct. I guess somewhere directly or indirectly Aishwarya is responsible for the fans hatred towards Neil. He's simply being targeted for no reason. Poor guy.

I agree and disagree.

My opinion:

I think that giving interviews together like leads by Neil and Aishwarya is not good. They have been a couple in real life but in the show they are not. Even if they choose to give interviews together, Neil and Ayesha's interviews need to be there too. There should have been balance. Whenever I happened to watch SBS or SBB, there were Aishwarya and Neil. I'm not into Offscreen stuff, so it doesn't bother me much, but it's still a bit off.

I don't think Aishwarya is the reason why viewers hate Neil. The scenario is just the same as when viewers like a character, every character that supports the character, is liked by the viewers, and every character that opposes this particular character is hated by the viewers. When viewers dislike a character, every character that supports the character is disliked by the viewers and every character that opposes this character is hailed by the viewers. In this case, Aishwarya is disliked by the viewers so Neil being by her side is not something that viewers can digest. So he's targeted. It's not Aishwarya, it's viewers' mentality.

Hatred for Neil was not there since begining. It happened after roka. The displeasure of seeing Aiswarya with him 24/7 spreading negativity and bad mouthing Sai charecter resulted in hatred that grew by leaps and bounds.
