I have a distant relative who was picked up by police last month from Ahmedabad for 3 kg of heroine and coke. He hasn’t received a bail and presumably in Delhi jail. I am yet to find any news regarding this bust considering how big was the bust.

I'm super-confused myself but from what I can tell, this guy isn't really going against the extortion narrative but he's saying he is not part of it. He's trying to dump the blame only on Gosavi and Sail.

He names a "Gurnani" being there - I think that refers to Hitesh Gurnani, Pooja Dadlani's husband. He also mentions Chikki. I think that refers to Chunky Pandey's brother.

He claims Gosavi told him that Aryan had no drugs so they should help him contact SRK and get him out of this. Aryan asked them to call Pooja and a conference call was set up with her. They told her they would rather meet in person. So Sam, Prahabhkar Sail, Gosavi and I guess Manish Bhanushali all met Team SRK (Pooja, her husband Hitesh and Chikki Pandey).

He claims they asked for/got 50 lakhs to help Aryan but he wasn't aware they were trying to extort 18 crores - he only found that out later that night that Gosavi was a fraud and trying to trap Aryan. When he found out, he got them to give back the 50 lakhs to SRK's team and "Gurnani" picked it up.

It seems to me like they are all involved and were trying to extort money but are now trying to blame each other. They think Gosavi is easier to dump this on since he's already in jail.
