Idk why I never felt anything for Nageen, despite her being the protagonist. The same actress played Momina and I felt bad for her when she was going thru shit but never for Nageen. That's why I wanted Sanam to play Nageen...because in Ab Dekh Khuda, I was rooting for Mariyam's happy ending and wanted Alam to suffer, no matter how good-looking that SOAB was 😆

What Sultan did to her with the kidnapping track was wrong but what Nageen did in the second and third episode...I legit facepalmed myself during the first viewing 😆

Danish Akhtar had already become iconic though, I was rooting for him to live and create a new world with Hania. Felt terrible for Roomi at the end, jo usko Mehwish jaisi maa ke saath chodh diya

I never sympathized with Nageen in the beginning episodes but she started growing on me after she accepted Sultans proposal😭

What did Nageen do in the second and third episode? I think her behaviour was how a normal middle class girl would behave.

Haan I will always hate MPTH ki ending. So overrated. He shouldve ended up with Hania instead of his selfish wife getting what she always wished for.

I started watching Chupkay Chupkay btw, reached episode 15 😆

Baaki Netflix chalta rehta hai, and Danishji ki photos dekhti rehti hu ☺️❤️

Mujhe odd ye laga ki each person and experience is different...Nageen ke saath ek interview pehle mein badtameezi hui thi but that doesn't mean two people are the same. If she wanted to reject also then there's a way to do that. Rudeness was not the answer, especially since the guy never touched her inappropriately or was dating her just for his physcial needs or something. Sultan genuinely wanted to marry her and I understand Nageen's scepticism..but that was no way to behave at all. In fact, she was rude to Haroon also in the beginning 😆 I was legit like "your words and behavior is getting you into trouble thoda toh introspect kar 😆"

We were discussing in an older thread that Sultan had anger issues and had faced deprived of love and genuine bonds his whole life. And it was also established ki he wasn't a creep or ladkibaaz. Only his anger which could've gone either way...and Nageen pushed him the wrong way unknowingly.

@bold: Haan na. Infact had Danish and Hania ended up together, that would've been a much more progressive ending and taken the show to a much more iconic level. Mujhe waise Danish Akhtar se bhi problems thi ek aad 😆

I guess MPTH ki ending badli thi shayad, aisa rumor tha not sure if it is right. Anyway i think ending was good, ayeza was left to repent. Plus if ending ye nai hoti show wouldnt have made that much place in one’s head. Uska impact nahin padta, just like sultan ko marne ka impact tha yahan to danihs ko marne ka aur bhi impact pada tha. The only person i felt terribly bad was roomi. That kid gave me goosebumps. Danish ki death waise predictable hoti ja rahi thi given the kind if dialogues jo aapko disturb kar rahe the. Mujhe dialogues bahaut hit kar rahe the is show ke. And i have cried so much when roomi says papa ne kahan khwab mein aya karenge, like meri lag gayi thi gandi ki oh no ye kya bol gya bacha 😭

I get now which scene you are talking about...but I felt Nageens reaction was expected. Firstly due to her circustances she believed he was not honest (due to her job and what happened to her friend) and also the fact that he kept following her and would not accept no as an answer was irritating her so I felt that reaction came out of fristration. She could sense that his intentions were not right.

Sultan did not genuinely want to marry her and he mentioned countless times that he was just trying to win her because she was his zid and he gets what he wanted. Even if she accepted his proposal the first time, he wouldnt have married her.

Youre not the only one my friend. Even I had issues with that Danish Akhtar. It took him a long time to man up and get some self respect.😆
