But unfortunately, the route that Pallavi took to make him understand that money is not everything is not convincing.

And here, they ruined Raghav's character progression too... He is back to being the Angry Young Man, drinking and spewing nonsense. He was the one who lied to her about the smuggling thing and now, he is refusing to listen to reason and instead is drinking and shouting at her and being grumpy when sober.

Precisely. And I have a long rant here... Please bear with me and sorry in advance.

Pallavi is given good dialogues when her scenes are with Amma, Aai (although I don't like Aai's involvement here), with Sunny and even when she was lashing out at the media. But in her scenes with Raghav, she is always given the typical preachy lectures which completely fall flat because they aren't relatable. It seems as if makers deliberately give her impactless dialogues and preachy lectures in her scenes with Raghav.

Upar se her constant dialogues of changing Raghav... They are a total annoyance.

Raghav is given good dialogues and a constant mention of his past trauma and all stuff evokes sympathy which is why, majority of the FD is siding with him here... again, as usual.

But some of his dialogues are totally bakwas.

Like, Pallavi has resorted to simple living (as per the promo). A diamond dealer had come to his house and he mistook Pallavi to be a maid because of her simple clothes (which was completely weird). One simple dialogue by RR could have been enough ki "uska ghar, uskar marzi wo jo pehne" but no, he picked up a fight with the dealer and then blamed Pallavi for that. And he even asked her not to bring his original version of RR out because "uske baad jo toofan aayega, usko tum apna jaan de kar bhi nahi rok payega." I mean seriously? Talking about her death so casually??

Upar se, he is constantly drinking and spewing nonsense and stating that the biggest mistake of his life was to fall in love with her?

Plus he again brought up his past and said that Pallavi never had to see her father being humiliated for money. Did the writers forget that Pallavi is an orphan? Her life wasn't a bed of roses either, right? But they are behaving as if she never faced any sort of struggles in her life when a large chunk of those troubles was caused by RR himself.

He said that he accepted Pallavi as she was, so why can't she accept him as he is? Raghav was the one who promised Pallavi to change himself and mend his ways. Pallavi ne kab bola tha aisa?? Also, Pallavi isn't asking him to change himself completely, she just wants a safe future.

Plus he isn't trusting Pallavi. Just a bit of circumstantial evidences and he believes that Pallavi has joined hands with the ACP and is going to go against him? He senses someone snooping around and immediately thinks that Pallavi is the one doing it when he clearly saw Sunny in his office and knew that he had stolen a register which had proofs against him?

I had another daura of Nostalgia last night as I finally watched the last episode of KUDCA. I had tears of happiness.

And then as another complication of my daura, watched the web series The Empire since Gracy was there. Kya boring series hai yaar! 😴😴😴 One scene that actually moved me was the villain's death sequence. 🙄🙄🙄 Liked Dino Morea & Dhrishti Dhami and another actor whose name I don't know.

Came around for few minutes.

Well, as usual I FFed it. And since I was watching for Gracy, from 3-8 episode I focused on Khanzada only. Surprisingly bold content was less there.

Rest storyline I found immensely boring. Babur was a conqueror for God's sake! I am glad they didn't villify him just because he is a Muslim 🙄🙄🙄 but he literally looked like a weak king whose sister had more foresight and drove the story ahead.

About MHRW, Pallu wanting RR to mend his ways is realistic because it's not just about ethics. Which girl would want to live in this constant fear that she's gonna start a family and at any time her husband can get hurt? Not to mention the impending danger on their future kids too as such dark path always leaves its trail.

In my country's shows/movies and in a lot of International shows I have seen this topic being addressed and a lot of couples actually ended up getting separated because love is not enough when the risk is so high.

But as usual they turned Pallu into another typical Bahu for who has a high moral and this idiotic representation is taking away the original impact.

As for RR, Sickand seems to be hell bent on creating Raman 3.0 with this unreasonable and misdirected anger with an addition of heavy drinking. See, the type of humiliation he had to bear, it's understandable that money matters the most to him. But it's also kinda weird since he has a conscience. Back during Krishna Rao fiasco, he wanted to distribute his own share of money among the people who had been cheated but unfortunately his dad and little brother died before that. 😭 Such strong trauma could either turn him into a cold blooded murderer or he would have mended his ways permanently.

We have seen he is somewhere in between. So it's weird that someone quite close to them got killed again and he's hell bent on continuing his illegal business. They should have focused on his anger, his panic that history is repeating itself and Pallu urging him to start afresh because this will haunt their kids too.

Instead we are stuck with Bewda RR. So meri taraf se Chappal Ke Barsat for makers.

Now coming to Nazar,

Chahe main kitni bar bhi bol loon ki I don't want them to destroy the legacy, but MoNiyArsh in the same frame and in an episodic - what more could I want!

I just hope iss baar Piya/Niyati apni shadi enjoy kar paye. 😉 And I want them to add at least one firefly sequence. Agar tandav ka demand karoon to zyada ho jayega kya? 😛

And here, she isn't going the moral or ethical way because had that been the case, she would have immediately handed over those diamonds to the police and would have even asked him to pay off all the taxes he has evaded till now and at the extreme cases, might have even asked him to surrender.

But here, she is simply asking him to give up smuggling and choose a safe route for his business dealings because she is worried about their future.

Although, sabse pehle I'd have him give up his excessive drinking.

The fact is that only her dialogues are idiotic here. She isn't being a typical bahu wanting Raghav to become a total saint, pay all taxes and go to jail and similar stuff. Her dialogues are making it seem that she wants Raghav to become a total saint... warna to she was actually shown ready to take his POV into consideration, to understand his way of doing business etc.

I agree with you on Raghav's mindset. He saw his father bearing the worst kind of humiliation because they were facing extreme poverty. So, his mindset was aligned with the thinking that money is the most important thing. And as you said, he has a conscience too...

Idhar on one hand, I do agree with his mindset and sympathize with him for his trauma and all that... but there is one small thing. He has 200 stores all over India. He is among the biggest businessmen. So, him having a little less profit doesn't mean that he'd go completely bankrupt. Still he is behaving as if he will go completely bankrupt... 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Well, yahan par bhi Pallavi is going to take a bullet for him and (most probably) be unconscious or land in a coma for some time. And I'm sure, this is going to haunt him and he might recollect all the hurtful things he said to her in anger and might finally start understanding her POV.

Bhai, he isn't allowing her to talk. Half the time he is drunk and is shouting at her and when he is sober, he is again angry and fighting with her, jumping to conclusions without even listening to her side of the story. How will she get her point across? Kidnap kar ke chair se baandh kar baat kare kya??

About MHRW, since I agree with all the points, I am not quoting this portion. Rest all of us agree that acting, dialogue, direction, screenplay - everything as a whole makes a scene/show impactful. It makes no sense that you are showing one type of mindset and the dialogues are preachy.

As far as FD is concerned, they can go to hell. I can bash the writers for the ultimate goof up as they butchered the ML's character to glorify the FL.

Still, when you look at a product, you see the whole picture and Pallu is 200% justified here. So playing the victim card on behalf on RR doesn't make any sense here.

The least I'm hoping for is a proper wedding sequence.

Me too! Zyada expectation health ke liye dangerous hain. But I really hope they don't mess it up too much as it would be an episodic. Let's see how it goes. 🤗
