Kisi ko koi gaana pasand aata hai toh kis aur ko wohi gaane shor lagta hai. Sabhi kuch subjective hai. Aise mein kisi ko number one singer bolna kitni bewakoofi ki baat hai!

Actors, MD, singers, lyricist ki team hoti thi jo sath me hee kaam karte thay, as u mentioned, Lata- Madan Mohan, Asha-O.P, Rafi-Naushad. vaise hee actors ki bhi choice hoti thi singers ki, like Raj-Mukesh, Dev-Rafi/Kishore, Shammi-Rafi etc.

Uss time sab ek-dusre ke kaam ko appreciate karte thay, khulkar tareef karte thay, unhe art ki value thi.dusre ke achhe kaam se inspired hote thay.

Isliye 'fans' ke opinions par dhyaan nhi dena chahiye, music ko enjoy kro bas.

Meri toh humesha yehi koshish rahi hai ke music ko enjoy kare! Aur itna karti hoon ki obsess ho jaati hoon! Aur iss obsession mein search karne lagti online. Dilip-Raj-Dev ke aajkal mein shayad itne rabid fans nahi hain isliye woh bach gaye 😆! Par YT videos ke neeche jo comments hote hain Rafi aur Kishore ke gaanon mein! Tauba Tauba! It’s crazy!

Anyways, main ab bhi kehti hoon ki mere koi fav nahi hain. Main gaane enjoy karti hoon bas. Jo bhi singer ho!

Like the title says, they are "Sadabahar geet".

I listen to them every Sunday in the morning when my husband tunes into a local station which plays older Bollywood songs. They are the best.👍🏼

So the last song I posted 'Aa Neele gagan tale' from the movie Badshah 1954 is in Raag Bhimpalasi or Bhimpalas. I try my best to 'recognize' raags ever since I was a child because my dad would make it into a quiz competition between me and my brother! 😆 Chalo- raag bolo- you'll get a chocolate/ or some other treat like 1 hour of TV watching! 😆

I'll try and make this a series and post songs from the same raag that I know of.

Bhimpalasi is a beautiful raag and classified as an afternoon raag and the songs based on it are also beautiful. In Carnatic music, the raag that comes closest is Aberi.
