But this problem is not in whole India, very acute in certain states only, many states like mine and those in South have the situation under control. The problem was aggravated in North India due to holding massive political rallies for elections by political leaders crazy for power. Also in a certain state, they mindlessly organised a religious gathering where thousands congregated and got infected, the political leaders were more interested in protecting their vote banks.

US and lot of countries including EU, are sending aid, grateful for that. But there is a perception that full India is having problems, it is only in certain states where it is very bad, others are improving and bringing things under control.

Guess all of us active members are either partially vaccinated like Suta, you, Padma or like Avi, Madi and me are fully vaccinated, thank God for that.

Those who should choose to lead the country and take care of the life and health of the people, by their behavior, have put the same people in a situation of dying because elections and power are more important to them than human lives. Who can trust them any more .

You too have a throat problem for long, do take care, hope you are taking medications for it and consulting a doctor, these days it is advisable to keep the doctor in consultation. I understand you are also very busy at work, do take care dear Nado, get well soon🤗

They didn't send me to any filming. We'll see what the doctor says at the next checkup.

My throat is better. I drank teas and put compresses. It took a little longer but it still passes. I avoid visiting the doctor whenever I can, since the epidemic started.

Hope all well with everyone. I try to maintain my sanity by not reading too much covid news of states badly afflicted but am torn between being an escapist and not knowing the grave situation in some of our states.😲. Situation is grim in some states still, there is under reporting too. The most poignant visual I saw was of a wife cradling her husband in her arms in an autorickshaw outside a hospital as she was awaiting a hospital bed and giving him mouth to mouth resuscitation ( which is actually prohibited in covid cases) to give him some oxygen due to his depleting levels but he did not survive.😭. Thousands of such stories of neglect and grief are around, then try to divert my mind through music but do not know how right it is to stay aloof from the grief of other countrymen in different parts. Can pray for all and the situation to be under control.😒

My country has enough vaccines, the number of patients is slowly decreasing, but every death is a pain and a tragedy for those who remain. Human destinies are terrible. And this story you told us is sad and painful.

Sometimes I don't want to know anything anymore. I want to forget. I am terrified of that helplessness and I am even more affected by human ruthlessness.

Bono is still naughty and seems to me to be wiser than I thought. He is our little shaggy joy. 😃

Yes almost all of us got our second doses, still we are prone to covid, but it won't be serious , we can stay back home to be cured.

My city is deserted in mid afternoon which otherwise is busy with trafic jams and all. The politicians are successful in instigating fear among citizens. Now the main test will start once 18+ starts getting vaccine. They should not panic and maintain sanity because once vaccinated it tends to get side affects depending upon body types. Also some unknown decises will also surface not connected to COVID which otherwise will be projected as COVID related by some intellegent people and again will lead to panic like situation. The current situation is an example.

My humble request to all youngsters is don't panic, keep calm and stay indoors as much as possible even in case of side effects. Follow doctors advice, listen to elders at home and take proper diet, and don't mistook the Vaccine to be a remidy to virus but it is a shield that too will work effectively only after 2 months of 2nd dose.

In my country, young people do not really respect measures. They hold illegal kovid parties. The police are working as hard as they can, but once a large number of people without masks gather, the damage has already been done.
