There is something called "SUSPENDED ANIMATION " which means " the temporary cessation of most vital functions without death, as in a dormant seed or a hibernating animal.", which might happen in DEATH BY HANGING.

My question is, then why didn't Mumbai police or the doctor who declared Sushant's death, considered that it might be a case of SUSPENDED ANIMATION and try to take him to a hospital to revive him, instead of directly took him to mortuary?
