Yeah how do they even know Rhea is innocent? Innocent until prove guilty doesn't mean innocent. And if they really do believe this. (I was one of those people who at the time fell for the fake accusations of #metoo) But why didn't anyone come out in Sushant's offense and say nothing has been proven yet. It was after a week that the actress came out.

Each passing day it’s so evident that something very murky is there.
