Here I am after a long time, sorry that I was absent so long, but really, one thing you should be sure of, I was thinking of you very often…Especially I was sad because I was not able to come for Vibha’s and Biki’s BDs, and though I was thinking on both of my friends, being on the seaside with Mom, I was not able to come OL, since there we are living like in the 19th century, no modern facilities …so I was sending my best wishes to both of them, through starry sky above my head…

In all this days as I was absent, I was two times in Belgrade, we were preparing and giving one year memory service for my brother here in Zagreb, remembering him…few days after that, my aunt packed us in the car and took us to family house on the seaside…we had nice time there…What to say...Life hijacked me, but now I am back…

Hope that all of you are fine and well…will try this days to come more often, because as from tomorrow we will have workers in the house, since we will have an adaptation of bathroom, since it is more difficult for Mom to go in the bathtub this days, so we will change it with shower…In the same time we will do complete change of all pipes and tiles, windows… I mean, to reconstruct everything, it will take three weeks, they say…so last few days, since I returned from Belgrade on Saturday evening, we were removing all cabinets and shelves from bathroom…Jelena is also here, and we’ll go through all this together, so this days, if this PC will work better , (this last few days this explorer is not working proper…I am really fed up with this) I will try to come every day in the morning…

As you can see, I had great plans, but as usually, nothing came out of it...As Jelena show me today a message that Vibha wrote, where it was written that I was not around 40 days, I was really in the state of shock...For me times passes so fast, and in the night as I am finish with everything that I have to do, I just drop in my bed and fall asleep in a second, being so tired like a dog...in the morning I wake up so early, because those people who work in the flat are coming together with sunrise...than all day I am running after Mom who want to see everything and be included in everything that is going on, ...anyway , at the moment I am so tired, that I can barely see the letters on my key board...sorry for all mistakes that I made...Will try to come in the morning, for sure will come on Saturday...OMG, Prats BD is already here...

Whether Pratyusha was real Anandi or Anandi was the replica of Prats, it will be difficult for us to define even now!😊When I heard that the BV is nearing to its end, with an emotional outburst, I posted a few posts there, just read these lines ---

Gestation, Manifestation, and Mutation, that was the character of the Anandi, the story of our Balika Vadhu!

Together we share our life story, we look for the good in others glory -that was Anandi's motto!

Someone sent by God to do great things, one of the heaven's angels with no visible wings, descended into our drawing rooms to attract our attention, to mesmerize us to lead us towards this IF, TO SHARE, TO CRAVE, TO GRIEVE AND TO BELIEVE!

she was the definition of the friendship, greatest friend to all ! An iconic persona, a protagonist!

That is the summing - up of the story of our Anandi , the classic character from Balika Vadhu !

The seed was planted by child Anandi , a small sapling grabbed our attention and from then on we were not aware of the consequential adoration, it was just happened and tied all of us to the serial as well as this IF bonding too !!

At the start of the serial Anandi was just a small child , was the embodiment of impulsiveness and spontaneity. On the other hand, the transformation of her character towards the end of the serial from a joyous, spirited chirpy child to a 'waif-like' homeless, neglected woman who is only interested in her children and while saving them met with a violent death. An inappropriate, almost humiliating ending to that classic character. Once a profound supporter of a girl child and her education and an advocate of the empowerment of women , in her last stage was unable to reveal the truth to her own daughter and so hazy to decide what to do and what not to do , met her end in an unknown place and disappeared without any trace !! How can we forgive the writer and the director for this cruel joke they played with us ?!

Anandi was a breath of fresh air and laughter who knows instinctively that life is for living, for loving others , for helping and defining the real meaning of compassion. As the beloved only daughter of Bhago, she has been raised in a rural village to rule the hearts of million viewers worldwide.

She struggled a lot in her sasra because of D'sa , but still sustained there with the love of Jaggiya and others . When the little Anandi was shut in the darkroom, how we all terrified for her wails , petrified for that small kid's frantic calls for help , for that shivering little girl , how we all extended our hands in our TV rooms to hug that small girl who was nearer to our heart at that time!

Later , when that budding love started blooming in the adolescent hearts of the Balika Vadhu and Var , when it blossomed, when it lured us all towards dreaming, how many smiles slipped from our lips irrespective of our age at that time ??!! It was a beautiful recollection period for many !

Still remember , how the young lovers struggled to have their first kiss , their conjugal bliss , when it started ,when it ended , no one had an idea , it was a flow , we swayed with her romantic feelings , we cried for her tears, fears , never-ending sufferings , --how can we forget her longing for studies , her longing for freedom , her never-ending tirade towards social injustice towards widows , fellow Balika Vadhus , her fight against blind beliefs , social injustice-what a great character it was ??!! Where and why we lost her ??

Her huge popularity among ordinary viewers like me and great art critics like many ,acknowledged her as the foremost character in the contemporary Indian TV industry ! This character is not merely geographically oriented , but an expression of a contemporary woman's outcry of her soul , descended in to our drawing rooms as Anandi ! Her character went through irony and paradox , leads the viewer from the visible to invisible ! Many tears escaped from the cusp of our eyelids for her all the time !

When she was standing behind that closed door in her room , knowing that Jaggiya was in the hug of Gowri in the next room , they are enjoying their SR , on that day in my Anandi's eyes I have seen a tormented wife's pain , a tortured chick's silent wail , a crushed tender flower's muted voice, all the seas were not enough to store the tears we all shed that night , throughout the day with a frown on the face , with an uncontrollable anger how agonized we were in those days ?!

As she goes on an enormous journey, Anandi 's such a vast character to portray -I love my Anandi so much, many of us were quite protective too, shared an unexplainable attachment with her , as my favorite character she is a part that's going to stay with me.

It was quite an emotional bonding I shared with my Anandi , though illusory, it was so real to me , and to many like me ! Will share some more feelings with you all tomorrow.

Anandi was a widely discussed and appreciated character in those days. Many eminent film personalities too watched it because of the portrayal of Anandi in that serial!

Isn't Anandi equally to be blamed? -

Eternal love , unlimited attention , limitless pampering , endless affection , perpetual concern , unending support , Anandi got these from all her fans and followers, from all of us !

After all, you cannot know the strength of your love and liking until it is tested. I am still in dilemma , don't know how to accept the demise of my great Anandi whom actually I lost long back ,slowly I tried to convince myself that it is only a fictional character , there is no one to long for , it was difficult earlier , but the BV people made it easy for me now , by killing Shiv , by changing the face of Ganga frequently , and taken the story with many leaps and bounds in a mindless way , yes ,now I realised , accepted that there is no Anandi , but still love to live in my belief that once up on a time ...there was a girl called Anandi who was a classic character, an icon loved by many women , was everything for her fans ---... You know, I've left so much behind , that love , that longing, that hope , that sense of belonging, I left everything . Now hate to watch any serial , before BV never watched any serial and later too . It was a heartbreaking experience for me. A personal loss of that sort .

When Pratyusha took over the role of the child bride as a young woman, she had a very hard act to follow. Avika Gor, who played Anandi, had won and ruled the airwaves for over 500 episodes with childlike innocence, an impish face and elfish pranks. She was the most beloved character on Hindi entertainment channels almost as soon as Balika Vadhu was launched in July 2008 (Colors), easing out Ekta Kapoor's remaining K saas and bahus " even the redoubtable Tulsi " from our hearts if not the ratings.

Another change , still watched the BV for the sake of Shiv and Jagdish, and later as far as Sriti was there , she never allowed us to deviate our attention from her face , such a powerful actress she is ! Shashank , what a gem of an actor he is , if he hasn't got a serial role yet ,it was the misfortune of the viewers , what a complex role he played , as a hero , as an anti - hero , as a Villon , as a dedicated and committed friend , as a Doctor, as a politician , just simply give him a complex situation and he defined it so effortlessly, really the hero of that serial . Why they killed Shiv , and what they achieved from that wicked thought , we have no idea , for that they lost a million young viewers forever !!
