Small screen's popular actor, Jay Soni who shot to fame through Star Plus' Sasural Genda Phool and also known for his character in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby is all set to make his theatre debut. The actor, who has always professed his love for theatre, will now be seen in 'Blind Date', an impressive play about taking life's challenges head on. The screening of Blind Date will be held at NCPA on September 9, 2018. Helmed by Prasad Khandekar, the play has a dazzling star cast; it also stars Chestha Bhagat and Pritam Singh.
Jay Soni and Erica Fernandes are good friends. The actor has played the parallel lead in Yash Patnaik's 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise' opposite Erica Fernandes. When we asked Jay if he knew about his co-star Erica being signed for Ekta Kapoor's remake Kasautii Zindagii Kay remake., that actor said, "Yes, I knew about it." While talking to LatestLY, Jay further added,"I have already called Erica and congratulated her. It's a great that " He also went on to say, "She always complains about me ditching most of the parties and get togethers, and I am always sorry for not being available to meet them but yes, I got to catch with her too."
Speaking of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, fans have not been not able to control their excitement ever since its announcement. Reportedly, Parth Samthaan bagged the role of Anurag Basu, while Prerna will be played by and Erica Fernandes. The shooting of the show is currently on in Kolkata, where the cast of the show is present, according to a report in India Today. The promo, which released a few days back and received a great response, was shot at Mumbai's Kelve railway station. Watch this space for further updates.
