I might sound a bit rude and apologies for that but most of the people dont understand that one doesn't need to die a death of a martyr to get a tricolour and a gun salute after death. Why else do netas get such honour? These things happen as per the protocol. Anyone is not having any special privileges.

Sridevi was an asset for the country and irrespective of whether we liked her or not she will be given whatever she deserves. Actually I have come across such people who question why actors are nominated for Rajya Sabha. They dont understand Bollywood also means Art ans Music and the actors get the privilege because of the constitutional provisions. Amazingly they have no issues with sportspersons getting the respect.

you were not rude at all and thank you for reaffirming my stance on Sridevi getting the honour. My knowledge on socio-political stance of the country is extremely limited. But I only believe that since the woman had entertained us with her hard work and perseverance, it was only fair for her to get the honour.

Also, the way media treated her death, it was nothing less than a shame.

Sportspersons, well like most say, especially for cricket in india, that its not a game, its a religion. And I guess most sportsperson just enjoy the perks of representing the country at international levels.

AFAIK, the story is extremely contemporary and fits the bill for the youngsters and the gen now who are extremely ambitious but dont know where the chase ends.

Hola Peeps, we are facing a major snowstorm in the UK. Everyone is snowed under..hopefully this will stop soon cause I am already tired of the snow...this country cannot cope.. 😆

Indian Journalism have no shame the amount of crp shown on TV on Sridevi's death was completely crazy..they don't care that someone lost their mother, wife, child..yes she was an icon but she was also a person whose death should be mourned by her family members in private.

What is this new Sony show?

Chick - dude you got me hooked on Turkish shows... 😆 so I sort of liked Ask Laftan and then saw a recommendation on youtube for Dolunay...such a nice show.. 😆
