Chick - how do you do it? please explain the art? 😆 I am always behind with RKC. I always have to watch 2 or 3 at a time.

The prob is you sit and watch each and every scene and that eats up on your time. Soup and I just get the gust of 20 mins in 5 mins and I watch almost all prime time shows 😆

You have to learn the art.

The only show I watch diligently is rkc. Everything else is once in a while. For e.g, caught up with Bhootu after almost two months. Whatever can sustain my attention, I enjoy. I used to watch swaabhimaan on colors before ipk3, gave up after rkc... Tuned in again two days back and found it terribly dragging... Thank god! Yesterday I read they were given three days to wrap up. Some issues might be there, but the story had already become stale.

I agree. Hindi shows are not meant to be given so much time.

Swabhiman PH had a tiff with Colors and the fans are crying. I had liked the show initially, it was good, imo. But then it was so idiosyncratic that I hated tuning in.

Yes offline marketing is equally important cos u see like TV has TRPs, BW has BO collections and that comes from word of mouth and tapping channels like FM and TV and theatres.

Zee Music and B4U also is airing the songs and the trailers.

This is the time of small budget movies and if THMS finds its niche, then that will be the movie;s break even.

Desi soaps... All that surfing is to find something worth watching. Sometimes you find something interesting, and after that scene, it looks repetitive again.

During RKC, I don't dare switch during break too.

Shakti is in top ten. Stiff competition to get decent trps at 8pm. Hope we can stay afloat.

I told you right, RKC needs its niche and the job is done. They are not looking overtaking Shakti's fan base, breaking that is tough. Anyway, RKC and Shakti will have two different takers from the viewers.

Having said that RKC needs to beat Mehek and TR. They are averaging at 1.2/13.
