THE HIMALAYAN ODYSSEY

Today, was the day!

Saaho, after it's much awaited release, had taken the box office by storm. However, two days after the release, unaffected by all the furore, the hero of the movie and India's much loved heart throb Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, had taken off to Australia for a one month holiday. Media and fans have been desperate to catch a glimpse of the man ever since.

After the long wait, the day has finally arrived. Today, he'd make his first public/media appearance since the movie. The fans sat glued to Facebook, for his live interview.

All DS fans however, were eagerly waiting for the official announcement of his wedding, to the love of his life.

After chat on the success of the movie,

Host : Sir, now that Saaho is over, heard that Anushka and you're all set to tie the knot??

Dunna : Heheh..huhuhu...hehe ! 😆Such rumours are there? I have no plans of marriage now.. Anushka and I are best friends.. I even know her family for 8-9..

*DISHOOMM...THUD..CRACK*

Subha's laptop lay on the floor, screen cracked, and parts separated. She logs into J and I group from her phone, and posts a comment.

" Guys! I'm going to Himalayas. Anyone coming?? "

A Volvo is parked outside the gate of Meenu's house, their last pickup location before heading to the Himalayas. All the J and I members are seated in the bus, their bags packed with basic essentials for a simple life. The holy chant " Buddham Sharanam Gachaami is played on loop in the bus.

Rachna : Ved found Saroja, they got married and their kid has started going to Pre-school. But the Jilebis are still the same. I feel sorry for Sweety... Aarrghhh! Anyway I'm glad it's all over! We're finally going to Himalayas for a peaceful life!🥳

Hasi : Exactly! Freedom from all tension. 😉By the way Choti, why are you carrying your laptop? We are supposed to lead a simple life there!

Kaushi : I know ! Just wanted to post the climax chapter of my PrAnushka biography SS " My Boyfriend is my Bestfriend! ". After that, I'll throw my PC into Ganga!

Priyanka : Wow great! 👍🏼 Tasha? You don't have any edits, posters or videos to make?

Natasha : No!🤢 I released all trailers and posters, sent Aniket and Isha for honeymoon, completed my story, uninstalled Photoshop and burned my laptop! I'm a Mukt Aatma now!

Preethi : I've downloaded few pics of BB1 promotion on my mobile. At least till we get there, I will dissect them.

Ishu : True! What if we find some last min clue? Send me the pics. I will also do!

Jeni : We're all upset here and see this Laddoo sleeping peacefully. 😕

Naz : She is on night shift no? Plus last night she had worked overtime. 35 GIFs and 50 panda pics she had posted!

That moment, a phone comes crashing onto the floor of the bus, from the back. Laddoo wakes up hearing the noise.

Ratna : Woah! What was that? 😲

Ratna picks up the phone, and sees it's cracked display. It has a newly released pic of Dunna playing golf. Everyone turns around to look at the owner of the phone.

Ranju : All these years he played volleyball, basketball and football with my brain. And now golf?? 😡Mudiyaathu!( Not happening).. I don't wanna see Dunna anymore! 😡

Laddoo: Awww! I 'm feeling depressed now.. Priya Ji , please write one last OS no? 😭Hein? Where is Priya Ji?

Everyone looks around.

Anbu ( sticking her head out of the window) : Aiyoo? What's she doing? 😲

Everyone sees Priya sitting on the middle of the road with her legs crossed.

All : Priya ? What are you doing? 😲

Priya : I have one final question. After I get the answer only I will get into the bus. Even if a vehicle runs over me, I don't care!🤢

Rachna : Oh Priya! What question?

Priya : Why did that Dunna pull Sweetamma close to him during that Dubai press meet? 😡

Aaradhya : Oh God! What do we do now ? She is very adamant.

Hearing that, Priya boards the bus quickly and goes to Hasi.

Before she got an answer, Hasi, Preethi and Ishu tie her hands to the holding bar of the seat and seals her mouth with a tape.

Tasha : Where is Meenu? We've to get going now!

Sandhiya : God! I don't know how violent would Meenu be now! 😲

The driver sounds the horn thrice.

Much to everyone's surprise, Meenu is totally chilled. She enters the bus, happily singing a song and doing slow panda dance.

Meenu : Hi guys!😎

Rachna : Meenu?😲 You're fine? How come?

Meenu : Why should I be upset? I got into bathroom last night. Did 12 hours of Snaanam' and washed away 12 years of sins off my head. I'm light as a butterfly now. Let's go! 😃

Kaushi : What's that package in your hand though?

Meenu : Oh that's nothing. Some emergency supplies. We need to survive in Himalayas after all, right ? Where is Subha Chechi, by the way?

"Here ! "

A voice comes along with a raised hand, from the driver's seat!

Subha : Let's go! Jai Himalayas!

All : Jai Himalayas !

The team embarks on their pursuit of peace to The Himalayas. All the physical luxuries were abandoned on the way.

In the Himalayas, on a top of a high, scenic, serene and peaceful mountain.

The group happily munches on some wild berries and the last of the leftover Jilebis and Idiyappams.

Rachna : This is so peaceful! Why didn't we come here before?

Subha ( resting like Amarendra on the branch of a huge tree) : I know right?😳 I knew this would be the ultimate heaven! I'm so happy !😃

HAIYYOOO!

Next second, the tree is shaken vigorously and Subha lands on the ground with a thud.

Subha : Amma!!!! 😭 I'm dead.. My back... What was that? Tsunami?😲

Priya : Inge mala mela enna Tsunami? (What Tsunami here on the top of mountain?). Could be earthquake!

" Guysss...

Everyone turns around to look at a shivering Laddoo.

Laddoo : I saw some animal jump off the tree!😲 It could be a panda or a leopard. I had posted pictures last week right? Same same!😭

Hasi (pointing to a a distance) : Guys! Look at that !😲

The group heads towards a tree at the end of the cliff. They see something beyond their belief.

Anbu : Daiii !!!!😡😡

Meenu : Shhh!!! Silence! Guys, follow me!

Meenu walks in the lead.

Priya : Listen!

All become quiet, and they hear the sound of violent chewing and munching from amidst the bushes. Within no time, they find the origin of the sounds.

Tasha takes the long stole off her neck, holds the ends and stats spinning it, to form a rope.

Subha ( in whisper ) One... Two... Threee... CHARGEEE !!!!!!

Dunna now stood tied to the tree at the end of the cliff. The same tree, in the trunk of which the girls had earlier found a hole. A hole through which an arrow tied to a rope had pierced through, and was stuck perpendicular to the trunk.

Rachna held a knife against his throat, and Ranju stood aiming the arrow at Dunna, after snatching the bow from his hand.

Subha : You!!😡 All these years you drove us mental! Now we've come to Himalayas for sanity, and you came here too? You shot the arrow onto the tree, reached the top, did the 'Mahendra jump' off another tree and threw me off the branch! YOU BLOODY BEGGARRR!!!😡😡

Subha snatches the knife from Rachna and is about to stab him

Priya : STOPPP ! I want the answer to the question.

Dunna : What question?😕

Priya : Why did you pull Sweety close to you during Dubai promotions?😡

Dunna : Oh that😃...Heheh... huhuhu...hehehe😃.. You know, Sweety and I are best friends.. I've even known her family for 8-9 years...

Meenu opens her mystery package, and reveals the contents.

She said, hurling the other 6 brooms at her friends.

Unable to hold her anger, Priya gives him the first whack, sending two cloth pouches from his waist off on to the ground.

Meenu unties the first bundle, and finds a Dabba of half eaten Biriyani.

The entire group glares at Dunna.

Dunna ( With an innocent look) : You know, my Amma sent me this. She has strictly told me right from school days to finish the lunch dubba like a good boy. I was doing that only, eating like a good boy. But you girls trapped me! My mummy will beat me now!😭

Tasha : What's in the other pouch?

Dunna : No no no guys..😲 That's personal!

He bends down to pick it.

Rachna kicks him in the tummy making him groan, and she picks up and unties the second pouch.

Rachna : WHAT THE???😲

Meenu : I KNEW IT !!!😡😡

Kaushi : The secret herbs...😲 The Himalayan Herbs.. The anti-ageing beauty secret!!!

Dunna : Ahem ... Girls...😆 This is for my best friend😃.. We are close friends for 8-9 years...I even know her family very ...AAAHHH! Haiyyo...Sweetu...Amma... Akka !

While, seven brooms and numerous pairs of hands conducted Maha Aarti on the toned body of the sensational pan-Indian super star, hundreds of miles away from the Himalayas, in the land of Charminar, a beautiful woman eagerly awaited her man's return, with the secret of her heavenly beauty !
