We travel all over . Enjoyed all archeological sights .They have excavated many many historical and acient sights . It took them 125 yrs to find things and study them they had to haul cities to start excavation. Amazing simply amezing 400 BC architect and cyties, statues are amazing . We had great time . We traveled over 1000 miles in mountains , climbed very difficult hills but we had great times .
Most people go to Greece to see and vacation on Greek islands but we are different . We had amazing time .
Wow...how awesome! Did you see the Acropolis?
So nice that they take the pains to preserve their ancient monuments. And it is so important to do that. History is underrated and considered as an account of a dead past. But the past never dies. It keeps coming back. How do you know where you are headed if you don't know where you have come from?
At least, this is how I see it. Others may really think that technology is the most important thing in life!
Speaking of monuments, our very own Taj Mahal is in danger. Heema...in case you have missed this important nugget of history, let me inform you that the UP government insists that the Taj Mahal was originally a Shiva temple that was called Tejo Mahalaya. Very amusing people heading the government these days 😆 They wanted to pull it down and build a Shiva temple there, but loud protests from Hindus and Muslims alike made them reconsider. Here, enjoy:

Far from preserving our heritage, we are out to destroy what little remains on the grounds of religion. It's a frightening thought.
