Despite all the controversies surrounding Udta punjab ... it has done well I heard ..reviews are very good, too ... heard alia has done a damn good job! She might paint herself as a fool but she has a talent worth many deepikas and priyankas rolled in one! And she is just 22 or 23 ... Star kids aane hi hai toh aise aaye ...

And seriously I don't understand when ppl crib about star kids ... i agree they get a easy entry, but along with that comes great expectations from all sides - family, industry, audiences ... and mind you, expectations can crush you no matter how good or bad u are ... if likes of alia bhatt are surviving just coz they are star kids then what say about the likes of Abhishek bachchan? - who is playing third lead in Akshay kumar's movie, AK who was a nobody when he decided to enter BW? Nobody is walking on a path full of roses here ..everyone struggles, everyone has their own demons to fight...

Star kids if are talented then its okay ..they have boths plus and minus point ..No non star kid would have gotten that much chances as AB got ..

And the number of times he was ridiculed and written of he would have wished he doesnt get anymore changes ... Infact he himself said in an IV, it hurts a lot ...I wanted to give up ... but his Father (who himself has given a dozen or two flops before a hit 😆 ) asked him not to give up ... then yuva happened and then at least people stopped ridiculing his acting ...

He isnt a bad actor... actually very good in comedy roles ... but its just that he doesn't have star quality ... doesnt have main lead quality.. .

he cud have other things about which he actually passionate about ..
