this is an os which I have written longtime ago but posted recently. I have used imagine your fav character so to gain more readers. Is this the first time in Fan fiction that someone wrote like this or its a common idea. If its a common idea am I a thief who have used the same idea because its MY IDEA FROM LONG TIME...
I am not understanding what you think you stole. If you mean the idea of writing an OS but letting a reader decide/imagine who the couple is then no. This is not the first time I've seen something like this but you're not a thief either. I have seen variations of it but that does not mean you can't use it either. It's a device not a plot or something specific to one writer. Your story is your own as well.
Don't you do the same thing when you write different versions of an ff for your readers. Here you wrote one version and let them decide. It's like a general fiction.
You can't copyright ideas just how you use the idea and in what order. For example if I wrote an OS on Ashley and Mark that included them falling in love while hunting zombies but my readers decide to imagine say ShaNak or MriAra then neither have I stolen the idea nor can I not use it. My plot is different, the way I used it is different that's the crucial thing else we'd run out of ideas quickly.
People choose to write on specific couples because they like them and or they are popular so they can get a reading audience quickly. You should be fine so long you don't plagiarise another work.
You'll find lots of things you think you made up have already been used and done. You can still use it though.
Did someone say anything?
