As reported on BizAsiaLive.com earlier, Sony Entertainment Television Asia has confirmed that Kapil Sharma and his team will be on the channel from May.

The show titled Comedy Style' is rumoured to be a co-production between Frames Productions and Sharma's K9.

Sony Pictures Networks India CEO NP Singh told IndianTelevision, "You will see Kapil soon on Sony TV in a few months' time."

Previously, Sharma was on Sony TV for its successful Comedy Circus' show.

Comedy Style' will be Sharma's first show since his exit from Colors with Comedy Nights With Kapil' last month.

Tellychakkar.com had reported about BBC launching its next on Zee TV. And now we have exclusive information that Barun has been signed to play the lead for the same.

The thriller based finite series will air either weekly or biweekly.

Now coming to the content, the story will revolve around a cop and a con. While Barun will play the role of a police, the con would be a femme fatale played by a newcomer (tentatively). The casting for the female lead is still on.

The show would be shot in Delhi and reportedly will go on floors from March.

Producer Myleeta Aga and the channel spokesperson refused to comment on the same.
