Sush Mcas is the common standardized test for kids in Mass public schools. It's taken in many grades. My boys r in 4th grade.
I agree parenting is tough...achieving that balance between creativity and reality can be hard. I think exposure is important. If kids move in crowds which has focus towards education and all round development ..it helps. I think in mass good school districts are pretty good...
In India we all were pushed towards stem irrespective of our interest, it has paid in improving the standard of living not necessarily improving our emotional being.
But our generation has much more equality, income and liberalization of mind...which gives us the confidence to let our kids pursue what they want.. But we need to differentiate between frivolous and serious passion
I love "here" ...really good song and voice..a deeper Rihanna . It is sad to hear about suicide of young professionals...the thing is in India mental health hasn't arrived..it's a taboo..why can't folks go to doc and talk about depression like they go and talk about flu.? We have demonized it and made it something to be ashamed off and again people put a lot of their self worth on their outward successes like income, relationships etc.. They r important piece of life but inner security, acceptance of own self and being resilient are the backbone
