Any one watched OSCARS last night?

Beautiful stunning set and the venue looked awesome in red.👏 👏

Other than Chris Rock and that guy bashing the documentary film makers it was a pretty serious affair. Loved all the performances and finally Leonardo di Capri nailed it👏

Movie of the year - SPOTLIGHT with investigation journalism as a win is surely a shocker.

I liked the speech of the president of academy and Vice President's plead to join against abuse👍🏼

Priyanka rocked the stage with her confidence if only she chose a bright dress. the dress was too dull on her.

At times it was boring yet overall a nice show which gave me quiet a list to watch.

we had a talk show today and there were people on panel who really thought that Donald Trump must win 😲 😲 and they actually supported him and his ideas😕

Hi Bhavi...I watched the second half...It was a good show...and yes the set was stunning!!

I think they were trying to overcompensate for the lack of diversity in nominations by having tons of presenters who were non whites...But that's OK...I didn't mind...😊

Missed Priyanka Chopras appearance...saw the pictures today...I agree, the dress color was too dull! And what's with the tattoo? I thought she didn't get along with her dad...

Leo...man, can you believe all those great movies and he hadn't won an Oscar...Lovely acceptance speech...about not taking anything for granted...👏

I heard an interview of the Boston Globe reporter, who is portrayed in the movie Spotlight...several months back. The reporters at Boston Globe think they did a remarkable job in making the movie...it was very realistic...although I though Bridge of Spies will win it...

Grumps nice article! I heard an interview of the author...she is with NY Times, right? It is good piece of journalism!!

I tuned off from the presidential politics this weekend...this Trump and Rubio battle is getting too much in the gutter...👎🏼 It is shameful!

Bhavi...Trump does have some very clear statements about policy...a core tenet of which is being hard on illegal immigration...even if the tactics he has proposed are questionable...at the same time he has quite moderate positions on many issues...I think people do,like his positions...it is not all about personality...or should I say despite his personality...

Anywho..like I said...I hope he wins the republican nomination...that will be good for the dems...

I hope good sense will prevail in the end...and someone who can not even tolerate dissent in his rallys will never become US president...

Caught a bit of both the shows- the doctor's show was a bit of an overdose of mama- worship. But I liked the sister telling the hero that all her life she has only worn the silver medal, thanks to him. But I think she will be turned bitter and unreasonable. Didn't catch the heroine.

Ek duje- looked nice overall- caught some 5 or 10 minutes. Sumo is really one tigress outside of her home. There was a nice segment of her going shopping for her tiffin business...10 PM is a tough time for me...Will try to follow this.

Watched the first episode of the new show Ek Duje Ke Vaste..LOVED it! The FL is very pretty and acts well...the story looks good too!!

Yup Sush it was a good piece of journalism. World Politics Professor writes a blog about Foreign Policy with a few articles posted every day. He normally chooses good ones.

I also watched Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. The girl is quite pretty. Reminded me of Sonali Bendre. Direction and dialogues were also okay. Nice to meet Rudra's Chacha here as her Mama 😆
