Hey ladies,

Lively discussions going on. I don't get into politics so I'll leave those comments for someone better informed than I am.

G Kanye West is an idiot. There are really no other words to describe him although people do think he has a serious mental disorder. He has phases of mania - and the highs and lows look like bi-polar if we want to label him. If he is not bi-polar then my idiot comment stands 😛.

The sony shows actually look good which surprises me. I will try to watch them because there's MIL from hell on them and it doesn't appear kitchen politics will be backbone of these shows. Look promising!

Ok I watched a bit SKR and the story doesn't move so Sush you are right. Your mom is looking at it from an older person's perspective where they can sit and watch it go slowly. Most younger people don't have the patience for that; particularly when there are so many other things competing for your time. So it's not about being critical but just about preferences in my opinion.

So happy for Ed Sheeran. That boy can sing his heart out.

I feel this is how SKR has to be enjoyed. We really have to put in this much of focus to understand what the creatives are putting in...well worth a read. I guess if I sat down and watched it with this clarity and patience, I'd appreciate it a lot more.

First of all...G and Indra on...Kanye West...what's wrong with this man? Another person...so full of himself...probably thinks he is God's gift to mankind...🤢 I think he should go and pitch his ideas to Taylor Swift ...May be she will give him some money...😆

Was a bit disappointed that See You Again didn't in anything at the Grammys ...oh well! Was happy to see Ed Sheeran win though...the boy is talented! 👏 Bhavi ...it is hard to believe Taylor Swift is the first female artist to win the album if the year...but there are still barriers which have not been broken already...and things are happening for the first time...BRAVO!!

The new show on Sony looks really interesting...thanks for the longer promo...Ri! Shall we all watch it together? It would be good to have a common show to discuss...😊

Bhavii...how is the weather in your neck of the woods...we went from -7F to 53F in the span of one day...it's crazy...😲 Did you watch the Grammys? Organizing seems daunting...but once you get through it...you will love having done it...Goid luck!!

G ...good to see you back too...! You are missing out all the drama with Supreme Court nomination matter..it's like the entire country has an opinion on this topic...😲where else do you get this much interest in a Supreme Court justice! Incredible!

Thanks Chick, I will check out the show on 29th. So far humsafar seems okay because I think the crazy MIL starts her drama from Episode 11 which I am on now.

Indra - Hugs! how are you? I know Kanye is a serious idiot. Begging for money on social media is not something I expected from him but he proved me wrong 😆 Sony line up looks good but I don't trust that channel one bit because they have a habit of pulling the plug on shows or meddling in the story lines. 😕

Sush - I have read very few articles on the Supreme court nomination. Heard one of them is an indian who took the oath on bhagavad gita? or was that someone on my Facebook just making up stuff?

Did anyone read the article on Apple being asked by US government to decrypt San Bernardino shooter's iPhone? Its quite a prominent story because Apple will fight the court order because the government is asking them to build a backdoor to the iphone. Specifically, the Government wants Apple to make a new version of the iPhone operating system, circumventing several important security features, and install it on an iPhone recovered during the investigation.

G...yes, Sri Srinivasan is one of the top names suggested as a potential nominee...He is currently serving as a DC circuit court judge...I didn't read about his taking oath on Bhagavat Gita...but he probably did! I heard him argue in the DOMA case in the Supreme Court...seems like a personality totally opposite of Scalia...The other possibility of someone from Indian descent is Kamla Harris! Gorgeous and extremely talented and smart woman...! I think she is more likely to end up as a senate member from California than the Supreme Court judge! Obama has nominated people from very diverse backgrounds...I hope he nominates Srinivasan!

Very interesting fight between the courts and Apple...once I forgot my iPhone password...and Apple told me...there is nothing they can do but to erase my entire data and reconfigure it...Isn't it interesting that a private company is the biggest promoter of privacy?😊

No need to apologize Sush! I should be more cautious before asserting something like that.
The female Indian justice seems good. It was funny in political writing today we were doing speeches pretending to be activist or politicians. I was a hypothetical feminist activist but almost 80% of my class of 25 decided to Bernie Sanders. One boy even sent him his speech. He is quite popular in my school.

@Soup when is the show starting?
