We just came back after watching Naseeruddin Shah's play - Ismat Aapa Ke Naam. It is a play depicting three stories by Ismat Chughtai...and each story were enacted through a mono act...by Heeba Shah, Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah. 😛 It was such a wonderful experience witnessing the brilliance of Mr and Mrs Shah first hand...sitting just a few feet away from them. Ratna Pathak Shah was particularly captivating. Wow! Of course, Naseerduddin Shah is a legend. Their daughter is not bad...though her mono act was the least engaging of the three.

We were able to get our hands on the tickets yesterday. Initially they only had one show scheduled but it was sold out a month ago and there was tremendous demand for another show...considering there are so many Indians here. So they added a show for Sunday and it was sold out too.

And it is funny...we know that Singapore has a considerable Indian population...but every time we go for such events, we end up being amazed at the turnout. 😆😆 And keep saying/exclaiming - kitney saarey log hain!?😆

@Sumit: Yes, it is not a bad show...just put up with the first few episodes and you might like it. 😊

I was quite shocked to see all the new types of hair oil that is sold in India - so many of which have mostly been formulated with mineral oil as the first ingredient. Sure, they add some of coconut and almond oil, and whatever else; but if you wish to stick to the basics, there is nothing better (and cheaper) than coconut oil.
I have experimented with Olive oil (it has phenolic compounds that irritate my scalp and eyes), argan oil (it is too viscous and the heaviness makes it difficult to apply), shea butter (it is almost impossible to melt on the hair), cocoa butter (smells delicious, and works wonders for the hair too - but it is just too difficult to apply).

And coconut oil - smells heavenly, is easy to apply, and is cheaper than all other things I have ever tried. 😳

Not only oil...There is a tsunami of products in the market with exotic names/ingredients which just end up causing harm. And if people only start understanding the ingredients or chemicals in them, they will be much better off.

As you said - stick to the basics.😊

I stopped by at the pharmacy and bought some Diclofenac cream, and I use a hot pack to heat my foot every evening.
Bhari jawaani mein mujhe yeh saari budhaapey ki problems ho rahin hai...
