Good morning folks.

This CC hasn't moved in last few days.

Namsyyy, here too cricket gets precedence over everything. Except for GOT, I am not watching anything, so the remote breathes easy.

Had a busy Weekend - two indo-pak matches, one lost (the D/L rule) and one won.

Anyone remembers the first time the D/L was played, as a bewildered SA (I think) looked on as they went from a winning position to needing to score 22 runs off 1 ball.

When Afridi said traditionally, Indo pak matches have always been Indian batting Vs. Pak bowling, I couldn't agree more.

Wanted to tell him, it was more true in the off field (pic) than on-screen.

Watching Akram and Imran in one frame (not forgetting Waqar), after ages, made my day, week and month.

Had they been playing ... sigh...

Not taking away anything from the hero of the day Virat. And his gesture to Sachin 👏

Farz - spoiler alert, don't say I didn't warn you.

The last scene is a must see- What i would call a double googly -

Lord Tywin should've been the king. While siblings were sparring, he shut both of them proper -

Pretty Sansa with the dwarf Tyrion,

Incestous Cersei with a gay.

I rewatched scene twice, for the sheer brilliance of the actors. All 3 were top-notch.

I wonder how he let his son-in-law and grandson remain the king.

Jon Snow is growing on me. And they're going to kill him. That was a one hot scene, they censored.

Never thought, I would sympathise with Jaime after he pushed Bran off the cliff. But Jaime-Brennie, is turning out to be best subplot of the story. Who would've thought? Storytelling at its best.

Wonder how come Joffrey is his son? The boy doesn't have quality of his mother/father. He seems to have taken after the mad king.

Heya guys 🤗.

I've been busy watching T20 since it started and thoroughly enjoying. Loving the way Afghanistan have been playing and improving 👏. Loved the 230 run chase by Eng against SA which is only the second highest run chase ever 👏. Loving Gayle storm 👏. And last but not the least, absolutely loved the India Pak match and how brilliantly Kohli played with such a calm and cool head in such a high pressure match. He has grown (and matured) beautifully to be such a fine player and entertainer 👏. And I disliked this man till a couple of years ago because of unnecessary aggression. I see the same aggression now but in his game.

And of course the best part. Gitey, as you rightly said Pak cricketing greats like Imran and Wasim in one frame (wasn't a big admirer of Waqar). My sis and I were only staring at Imran. Gosh he is still so good looking . He is the most handsome cricketer I've ever seen. And I've heard lots and lots of people both young and old say this. Both Wasim and Imran were so stylish. And so consistent and such awesome bowlers. Very classy with fantastic technique too. Wasim is such a good commentator and comes across as a lovely human being too. Felt great to see Sachin again. The crowd is still crazy about him. Yes I remember that D/L match very well. So unfair. My heart went out to SA esp Brian MacMillan who is probably still wondering what hit him. I still remember his face. He was totally dejected. I have yet to understand that method. My calculations never matched theirs and I don't even know why I even took any efforts to calculate at all. I gave up a long time ago though. LOL.

Nammmsssyyy 🤗. Intezaar ka phal meetha hota hain meri jaan. Looks like someone is making you run around the house and is making sure you remain fit 😆.

Missed Quantico. Will watch this evening at 7. Will go and drool over Fawad and Sid while watching Kapoor & Sons tomorrow evening. Heard lots of good things about the movie.

Summer set in in Mumbai from last week. This week will be hotter and more humid. Drops of sweat have already started trickling down. My family has decided to ditch the shower from today and go the old bucket and mug way in order to save water which is a rare commodity with 20-30% water cuts in several parts of Mumbai. It takes a bit longer and I'm having this kind of a bath after ages but I'm taking it as an exercise for my back and knees as well to look at it positively 😆.

He has been served two notices to be present in court in April. Let's see what happens. Still can't believe what happened to Subroto Roy.

I agree with Mohandas Pai. Air India losses have been pushed under Razia's carpet 😆.

So what kept me away for so many days? Dehydration Hate the feeling of being sick. Thank goodness for Mumma's care I recovered sooner than I would have otherwise. Mummas are the best!

Gita, absolutely great to see you back in action here! 🤗 I remember my Chachu (who is huge cricket fan) told me once that when it comes to D-W-L rule, there has been no team which has been more unfortunate than SA.

Anu, I am so sorry could not reply to the PM. Promise to reply tonight! AND yes am also really looking forward to watching 'Kapoor and Sons'. Also excited to see 'Batman vs Superman'. Did you watch the India vs Pakistan match of women's teams? India made a superb comeback but lost to Pakistan by 2 runs because of the D-W-L rule.

Nams hope you are having a great weekend too! I wish I had watched the first two parts of Divergent series. Neither am I able to follow GOT nor Quantico :(

Quantico is getting unnecessarily complicated now IMO. Something just not going right in the writing and execution. Too much happening too fast just for the sake of pace. The past training scenes should've been fewer by now. They are losing their impact. Too many characters introduced too soon. The old group would've been enough to pull the story. Did Parrish and O'Connor have a scene at the New Year's party? 😕. Don't remember. Heck, I honestly don't even remember the New Year's party. Natalie was way too cool for someone who had a bomb strapped around her waist. Gaining entry through X-ray machines and strict procedures seemed way too easy and convenient. FBI agents seemed undettered walking out of a building after an alarm went off.

The only good part about the epi was the end and PC's performance when she asks Ryan for help and later decides to give up. Everything else seemed all mixed up to me even though I understood everything. The suspense is still alive though but honestly it's beginning to drag now. The break is to be blamed. If all this was a continuation after the blast after Elias jumped off that building then I guess I wouldn't have felt so disconnected. I hope the next epi is better and holds my interest.

Aww Nikita. I hope you are feeling better now. Get well soon 🤗. Drink lots of water and fluids and take good care of yourself. It's going to get hotter. Mums 😳.

No I didn't see the women's match but read about it in the papers the next day. How unfortunate. The article I read said that Indian women played badly. I hope they do better in the matches coming up. There should be a fairer procedure to be followed instead of D/L.

D/L rule came as a bolt of lightning during a world cup and has stuck since then. If it didn't make much sense in 50 over match, I wonder how it is being used in a 20-over match.

Anu, money laundering is generally used for black money that is converted into white using financial channels. Here the opposite has happened - banks didn't get black money, but lended white money. The king is enjoying his good times, govt is recovering the money from us taxpayers by reducing interest rates on everything they can.
