Tina, i guess you missed the news that i was expecting second time last year...you were quite busy then 😊

We were blessed with a baby girl on 12th June 2015 😃 we have named her 'Saachi' 😆
but this doesnt have a 'n' in between so it does not mean Laxmi ...but means truth

She is born premature - in the 30th week itself and was in the hospital in NICU and high care for 11 weeks and then came home to us. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia (preganancy high BP) and hence had to be operated immediately to save both our lives.
Saachi was very critical in the start and she also contracted NEC (infection primarily in prematures) ...we almost lost her then, but i guess God is there somewhere and true prayers are answered...

I guess Appy would understand all the terms very well 😊

she is now doing much better, but needs lot of extra care...

I am really sorry to hear that she went through so much at such young age . Glad that she came out winning from all that ordeal.

God is surely there and with his blessings all the problems are hopefully behind her and from now on wards she will lead a complications free life...

Sacchi is such a lovely name .😳 she must have little grown up by now, how she enjoyed her first Holi?

Me saw first epi of Dahleez , it was ok but did not like the female lead , IAS was impressive though. Then did not get time to catch more.

Was started Tammana and KRPKAB , Tammana I liked more due to it's fast pace and crisp writing. KRPKAB I started cause me too like Supriya Pillgaokar and her acting ( though was curious to watch Shareer too in a contemporary role) but usually keep missing these shows due to lack of time.

Regularly trying to catch Siya ke Ram , Meri Awaaz... and Game of Thrones ... . I like all three due to different reasons. My kitty for shows seems more than full at the moment . 😆

How are you all coping with all the disturbing news that is surrounding us?

In real world people taking advantage of a tragic event to stay in limelight while in the reel world creatives and the channel killing the goose that is giving them golden eggs in an attempt to get more out of the exhausted goose.

While the public is mixing up the real life with reel life and getting depressed.

Hope you all keep your sanity and not let these happenings affect you.

Indeed very sad, shocking & tragic news. My heart goes out to the parents. May her soul rest in peace.

It's easy to make life work out perfectly in fiction, but it's harder for life to actually work out perfectly in reality. It's no wonder that truth is stranger than fiction and sometimes makes no sense.

This message my parents had given me when I was entering college...Stop trying to figure out why life doesn't make sense or is not fair, and start figuring out how to deal with it!

just a very sad state of affairs :(

I feel bad for PB, even if I have bashed her heavy in the past..its just really not the end, one would wish for anybody..

and I do think there is a deep rooted default in the way the industry is functioning, teens are picked up fresh from towns or colleges (maybe its cost effective, they wouldnt charge much, atleast in the start) and made stars with that one big show, once its over, most are thrown into oblivion..some may not even be that talented or ambitious, but are enamoured by the fame and money and the lavish lifestyle..and it eventually engulfs them into a deep hole..(the ones who have real passion towards acting, forgive my generalization, ie theatre actors, do not even get a chance to crack it at TV or movies..)

PB was obviously slipping into a downward spiral..she had seen the highs at such a young age, and post that nothing really worked out for her, to top it, an abusive loser boyfriend (and it might sound weird, but I never really bought the alleged drama about her accusing her previous boyfriend for emotional abuse, I always really thought it was staged for BB???) but that is what seemed to have happened for real with her next relationship and Rahul really gives off creep, scamster vibes🤢 that she had a lot of growing up to, was quite visible from her IVs..and she dint have the right people around her to top that as well..her mother is talking so much bogus stuff..I mean, she was pushing for marriage of her daughter with this loser guy, while she already knew he wasnt suited for her? really...😲

and this is because she was the Pratyusha, we even know what all happened to her..there may be many other unknown faces, who we may have seen on TV, and who have disappeared and are probably alive, but living in depression..

I really bad for that girl.While I have never been a fan of the actress or never thought much of her acting talents I hoped that she would get chances to improve her skills and make an identity which is beyond her first show.But unfortunately she didn't get enough opportunities to grow as an actress.

Don't know what she went through to take such an extreme step.Wish she just thought of the people who loved her mainly all her fans who were so waiting to do her well she probably would have been able to take one step backwards instead of jumping into oblivion.

It is a big lesson for parents.It is good to respect the choices that your child makes.But before allowing him/her to fly off the nest it's parents' duty to ensure that their child's wings are strong and would help her/him fly and even if he/she falls would be able to pick up and start the flight all over again.

While it is obvious that the disgusting man played a big role in her life but what needs to be looked into is why she allowed him into her life and how did she let things go so far as to be left with no option.

What made her stay on in this abusive relationship?

I really hope all these things come out because even if it is too late for the girl others may learn some lessons from it.

I feel bad for the girl who just wanted to live her dreams and feel bad for the parents whonow have to live with the fact that they have failed as parents.

Appy, completely agree with the part in red. Teaching them to fly is not enough but giving them strong wings is very important. Giving them firm boundaries, love and perspective is what we need to give them not latest technologies. But having said that this new generation is so very different from us in their motivation, judgment and decision-making...scary indeed!

Really feel bad for the girl who wanted to live her dreams like any of us... but lost it all. When I was going through labor pains ...I was like, this is just so damn tough. But now after few years into motherhood, can say, raising kids is hardest! When I was struggling with my newborns & had complained about sleepless nights, my boss chuckled... it will get tougher not easier. Seriously raising kids is one heck of a job.

my timetable pretty much has become Two and a half men at 8, How I met your mother at 8.30 (romedy now) and Friends at 9 (comedy central)😆😆 or Sarabhai/ Sumit on Hotstar..

I think I might start watching startup reality show and some other stuff on colors infinity, it has some good shows in offering

otherwise even the current running english shows have been a let down, somehow havent been able to connect to GOT or Arrows :(

Middle was fun though...

or I might do a rerun of Ansh scenes, refresh some good old memories?

last weekend, we caught up on refreshing few epis of Dekh bhai dekh..such a brilliant show! witty, relevant to today's age, fantastic performances and evokes good laughs! haaye re! only wish there was HD print available😆
