Saw Mumbai Pune Mumbai 2..

review

the trailer of MPM2 had left me terribly disappointed, it seemed like a song and dance routine..inspired by Barjatya and KJo brand of movies and lacking the freshness of the first part..

But but..surprise! the movie was actually pretty amazing for most part for me atleast and I found it to be a befitting sequel to the first one..😳 The ying yang couple is back with major character development in both❤️ and it was just so cute and feel good overall😳

Gautam Rao's happy go lucky nature, fun forever, Punekar attitude, who still talks gibberish while he is chewing his food😆 but when he had to grow up, he did..just in time..without picking fights, without raising his voice (except the last outburst, uff loved it! much needed to put some sense into someone😳😆 IDK i just couldnt stop crying at all), loved him all through.. He will always be the sunshine factor in their relationship..bringing the required vibrancy and energy⭐️

Gauri definitely brought the much needed maturity in Gautam, as much as she chewed my brains up with her confusion I think pretty much everyone in the audience was giving her gaalis lol!😆 Though I did like that she dint internalize her emotions and put it all out there in front of Gautam..thats what makes them special..<3 I just wasnt much convinced by her love proclamation though..I wish it was worded better and bit more detailed..😆

Beautiful performance from the supporting cast..Gautam;s father and Gauri's Masi specifically were wonderrrful <3

Swapnil-Mukta'as chemistry as top notch as ever..one just has to root for them to be together onscreen😳❤️ just palpable and so natural..

Saath de tu Mala is sucha soothing romantic number..stays for a long time..so as the Preet Gazal..<3 and so cute that they used Mala Sangha song (which was in Eka Lagnachi Gosht I think :P)

What!!! MPM3 will also be there?

I so want to see this movie... But uff!! In our city they simply don't play marathi or any regional movies.

KKG so far has most positive reviews from everyone.

Waiting for TV premiere of the two.

Strangely... I am amazed at Tamasha reviews.

But then nowadays Imtiaz Ali movies solely depend on one's own understanding of the characters/story/movie...More than what director wanted to portray.

Till now i haven't watched rockstar , highway & socha na tha(supposedly the best of IA)

Watched badlapur though , yesterday for the first time.

With TV edits ...the film is U rated😆

Story & execution great.

But when raghu tortured & forced himself on jhimli, i didn't felt any sympathy for him afterwards. Not that i felt any sympathetic for liak either.

I was amazed for raghu's so-called reasons for his acts.

Torturing-r*ping jhimli out of frustration for her trust in liak.

Killing koko just bcoz she was ready to sleep with him for harman's sake.

Using shobha...just because he was irritated with her compassion for the criminals.

If he wanted to avenge his wife & kid's death ...he could have just killed harman & liak as well...maybe as brutally as possible...it could have been justified... But what he did throughout for revenge was 🤢

^^Badlapur - I thought Nawaz was the hero of the movie seriously😆 because Varun's character had turned 10000 times worse than Nawaz..he was an educated man..he could have put his life together..but instead he decided to torture innocent people..to avenge his wife and son's murder..there was basically no difference between him and a monster

I love Highway beyond the beyond and Socha Na tha and JWM..

thought Rockstar could have been a great movie too, if only there was a better actress in it...but I duno about Tamasha now..I wanted to watch it because of "Agar Tum Saath Ho song"..abhi Im confused..maybe will watch it online🤔

Exactly!

Liak's dialogue about what happened on the robbery day was something more of a sudden turn of events ...than a planned or intentional act...that too for which he was convicted for 20 years ...& since it wasn't enough obviously for raghu...he was about to die soon due to cancer.

But the whole point boiled down to raghu's beliefs. He firmly believed liak's testimony about harman killing his wife & son while he was only the driver. That's why he didn't believed harman even when he was telling the truth...instead he followed his belief of harman being the killer & in-turn killed both husband & wife(actually what was the need of killing of killing his wife??)

Moreover nothing would have brought back his dead son- wife...so why to stoop so low , killing-torturing innocent people?

Lastly do you think..either the wife or son or both would have been alive had she not resisted? Bcoz technically they only wanted the vehical to escape... & not Anything from them...since the son falling was pure accident., maybe due to rash driving or open door.

Reviews are mixed though...more of a self-improvement, introspection type of movie.

Watching OL is a better idea , bcoz if watched with someone/group then kya pata unhe movie samajh hi na aaye😆

Highway...i am still waiting for suitable timings...or else i will watch OL.

Rockstar...no ...i am not going to see it ever.

Socha na tha ...maybe someday.😆

really wierd must say😆😆😆 I mean I expected the show to do well on trps..but right from the first week its topping..WTH!😆

I never went back to watch it after week 1😆

and Swara show🤢🤢🤢 I got over it real fast🤣 maybe it was just stop watch time before SKR came along😆now Swara behen can solve these nonsense problems..🥳 no cares since last 2 weeks😆😆
