Nikki... Am not a pro and as experienced as U, when it comes to these serials. The first time after many many years, I watched a serial was IPKKND, and that too after it was finished. One of my friends insisted that I watch it and I finally gave in, in April 2013.. and like a mad woman, completed all the episodes online in few weeks and then re-started all over again. I know, I WAS mad. Used to drive literally with my eyes popping out and I really wonder, how I ever managed w/o a crash/ accident.
After that, I was going crazy and desperately wanted another show.. and one of my friends advised 'Madhubala'. No offence to Drashti..personally, but somehow, I could notconnect to her (contrary to what I felt about Sanaya and NOW Niti). And I could not stick to Madhubala for long. Agree Vivian, is an eye candy, but I felt something was missing bet them. As a couple, they didnt do for me, what ArShi could do.
I googled for the most romantic soaps, in Indian Telly and came up with "KMH"- Balaji Telefilms. I watched both parts, on a very bad print. Then came across.. "YHM", a few months after it started, and fell in love with it- esp the clean-shaven RKB and the very mature, Ishitha Iyer!!! And stopped watching that in March and jumped to "IKNMP", watched it for a few weeks and finally settled to OUR DEAR "KY2", end of March.
What I wanted to say is, though U did say, for now ETR2, is ok so far, guess, for the same reason as ur point 1), am not able to make myself watch it. Anyway, I have 2 monhts of KY2 to catch up and then do a rerun again. Maybe, if I get desperate enough for more romance, I might consider that.
Having said this... just came across an article about 'Ishq ka rang safed". Just read that when I logged in earlier... am a bit tempted to start that, as feel there might be more angst in such kind of stories. But personally, I dont have the patience to sit for just for 20mins every day and wait for the next day 😭.
Sorry about this long txt. I can't seem to stop myself, when am here. So, who do I blame now??
