Love! A simple four letter word,
But it holds deeper meaning behind,
Love is pain,
But it's the only cure
Love makes you cry,
Yet it gives you a reason to smile.
Love can push you in darkness,
But it may be the only ray of hope,
Love can make you blind,
Still it fills your life with colors.
Love makes you lost in him,
But he may find himself in you

Hockey sticks can break some bones,
But also break your heart.
Crosby's heart is as still as stone,
But Jot can make it start.
The same goes for many more,
Those who find love in a book.
They fall in love while doing a chore,
Sometimes even with Captain Hook.
Then comes a Stinson, a Jake,
And many more on shows.
These people take the cake,
Becoming the cause of many rows.
When Harry Met Sally blew up,
Many things came to light.
You don't need an award or a cup,
To get love which is worth a fight.

"Love, it's like oatmeal. It sustains you."
Shades of Red, Shades of White,
Shades of Day, Shades of Night,
Everywhere we look, left or right,
We can find love shining bright.
Do you know of the story at the park?
The one, which took place in the dark.
It's the love story of a dog and a lark,
Where the lark sang and dog returned a bark.
Or do you know, of the one by the sea?
When the dolphin and the fish, were stung by a bee.
One had the saw, while the other had the key,
In the end, a heart was torn apart by the she.
You must have heard about the one,
Where the hate was plenty and the love was none,
Soon the hate grew empty and love grew a ton,
Until neither existed, when they were done.
And of course, there's the eternal tale,
The one, which never goes stale.
That's right, the story of the male,
Who goes in search for the right female.
There's also the story of a son and mother,
The one, also of a sister and a brother.
That love, no one ever wants to smother.
Like which, there can be no other.
Many more instances exist throughout,
Because love is an emotion we cannot do without.
Someone in love might not always shout,
But when it happens, it's something you'll definitely know about.
A poem is not sufficient to describe love,
Nor are a thousand words from the cove.
Even divine interventions from above,
Are not enough to fit the glove.
