Though visitors are banned to go down the steps still its worth a visit to this Falls because of its immense beauty. It houses some 400 monks of all ages, it has a guesthouse for tourists in front of its main gate and the monastery itself offers room for overnight stay. The structure which is the main attraction of this monastery is breathtaking, it reminds you of buildings in Leh Ladakh region. The monks are helpful and take good care of their guests. I stayed there overnight and ate with them in their kitchen and the view is absolutely amazing from here must must visit if in that area."

However, again a word of caution here is please ensure you are properly clothed as there will be very high velocity of winds blowing across with possibility of sudden snow falls as well. The view and the experience is unforgettable and worth all the effort one takes to reach this lake."
