I am pissed with Kavita leaving this week .

Why is it that the women only are being eliminated ! Their are quiet a few male contestants who were weaker dancers than Kavita ...sad , wish she was around for atleast 2-3 weeks more .

She used to liven up the whole show ...

Lauren need to work on her scoring skills .

But the advices she gives SI r so valuable .Her being over critical with SI .Will help SI to rectify her mistake with the help of Jai.Having said that still I wish Colors replace Lauren.

Good dancers cannot always be good judge.

'Cause if it is for the entertainment factor then I very much enjoyed Shakthi & Isha's dance moves in the previous JDJ seasons. After having a glimpse of Faizal in the last season, i am eager to enjoy his performances this season . No doubt I am liking Scarlett's performances too.

In the past I have wondered just sharing here, why not trained Indian classical dancers be invited to participate in such shows if they are willing. They need not do their trained form of dance but filmi ones suiting them. There have been instances when classically trained & performing singers have sung for movies. When Prachi Shah came on IGT this year i felt maybe she would be on JDJ too.

True these dancers may not win the show as its based on popularity nevertheless i believe such an attempt will also be good. I have missed the early seasons of JDJ so am not aware if such a practice was adopted initially.

nik, you spoke my mind!!! Why this fixation for 'foreigners ' ... we have so much talent in our country, what is the need to get people from abroad? And if you get them, why make them perform Indian dance, which they are so bad at ... make them do something they are good at and comfortable with. By making Scarlett do Indian dance, they're bringing down the level ... she is good at her jazz and hip hop, and other contestants will be hard put to challenge her at that. I can bet all the girls on JDJ could do that dance better than Scarlett because their body movements inherently have that required grace.

And there are so many BW actresses who have knowledge of classical dance ... I'm sure there must be TV actors also who do ... bring them on! One thing I don't like about jhalak, and almost all the dance shows on TV these days, is that they have drifted too far away from indian dance forms ... it's all about hip hop, jazz, and the new forms. If they had some of the older classic western dance forms like ballet, waltz, jive, foxtrot, etc, even that would be good to watch ... the new dance forms are more acrobatics than dance. That's why i loved Sanaya's waltz last week ... it was DANCE ... not acrobatics! And there is a lot of training required for that ... it's not as easy as it looked.

I don't mind her being over-critical with Sanaya ... but she is a judge ... she needs to extend that criticism to all participants, not just Sanaya. I haven't heard her give decent advice to anyone else, but she doles out marks like laddoos to her favorites. I am still annoyed about that 10 for Scarlett ... Indian dance is the only thing I can comment with some knowledge, and that performance was bad from start to end. Movements, postures, expressions ... everything was off.

A person should always have one's own identity. The case with Shamita is she ventured into same field as her sister's. Comparison is bound to happen. I have seen her in the few movies she acted and she is not a good actor.

The other example we can take is of Kareena and Karishma. Both are talented with the little sister having an edge over the elder one. There were comparisons even then. But Kareena made her mark with her talent.

I would rather be happy if she takes up a different field and makes her mark. I too wish her all the best.

Again an example I would like to give here is that of Twinkle Khanna. She is more popular now with her column and designer skills than she was as an actor.

I have liked Shamita's performances especially the second one she looked very beautiful too. That was a nice one, yeah Deepak is a very good choreo he did a great job last year too. Shamita's that performance left me wondering as to why this girl did not do better in Bollywood. She is much better than many who have 'graced' our silver screen.

Kavita going away is disheartening very. Sanaya is definitely going to tear up. 😕

Raftaar should have gone. Regarding judging enough has been said. I am here this season only for Sanaya & some for Manish. I am missing the well known choreos too.

I loved her in season 6 too ... never voted for her, but I tuned in to watch her acts and those of the two kids ... they were amazing dancers. DD definitely won because of votes ... but then JDJ is a popularity based show, thats the format,so no point cribbing about that ... and DD was the most popular for sure. After all, we're doing the same for Sanaya, regardless of how good or bad she is 😛

But Lauren and the kids got massive votes because they were so good. I am very disappointed in her as judge ... when news first came, I was supporting her when others were criticising, because I had loved her dance. Now I agree with them ... she is too inexperienced to be judge. And earlier i was ready to give her benefit of doubt, that she has no grudge against Sanaya just because she is DD's friend ... now watching her, I am beginning to doubt that.

Just my two cents ...not sure how kavita is as a dancer cause honestly I don't know her and have not seen her performing too much BUT she is close to Sanaya and so I would have wanted her to stay back cause she has been very supportive of Sanaya all throughout even when Sanaya was back from her Injury 😳

Coming to Si's act this week, I am saying this again that she is more confident than the last 2/3 weeks and she is very comfortable with her act and the whole " dancing in the competition "👏..this is what stellar performers are supposed to be like 😃..

Not sure why some people have a fixation with the dress but I don't get why it's even discussed? Very fickle minded 😕..for me she is a star and I am looking forward to seeIng her MUCH more than before ..

As for Lauren ..umm she is pretty inexperienced and the way she keeps coming across is a put off at times
