So after months and months of being cleansed of not watching any daily soap, Ishqbaaz promos grabbed my attention with the word "go". Now that is something really different, I thought to myself.

It was the Obros who caught my interest at first and I loved the bromance..and I am pretty much wary of Gul style romance, so clearly that was never my area of interest to watch the show.

BUT...

Shivika grew on me like slowing burning fire..from an initial Naaah🤔, to Aaah!😲☺️, they became my favourite couple on TV over time. I love how both are headstrong, protectors of their family, egoistic, clear with their opinions, extremist, flawed human beings. The reason their collision always brings tons of sparks with it, is just because of that, there is so much chemistry in the way the characters are shaped similar (even if so different otherwise) and the way the NarBhi bring myriad of emotions into their characters and put up a strong portrayal, epi after epi.

I also love the Ramayan-isque premise of IB, which ideally makes Shivika the modern day Ram and Sita. They aint no sacrifice ki murti, and are quite grey shaded, but the thing that qualifies them for that spot is how they absolutely put their family above everything else.

2 cents about the TM - Jesswa - she be my IF soulsister🤗 she recommends, I ship, I recommend, she ships..😆 Jesswa do you realize its been over 2 years since we know each other now?😲😲😆 also she has to be the most amazing analyst and a smashing siggie maker..I wish that gets u back on the job Jesswa..u got tons of siggies to update babe! 😳great job with the thread Jesswa - another blockbuster AT thread to your kitty 😛😛😛 its artistic and colourful and dreamy😉😉

All the fellow Shivikians - I really dont get much time to chip in, but I love reading your opinions 😳😳😳 and the stuff that people make <3 VMs are loveee!
