Although Kangana Ranaut is dead set against the release of her long-pending rom-com I Love NY directed by the duo Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao, it is all set to release on 10 July.
The film featuring Sunny Deol with Kangana is about an unlikely couple that is thrown together on New Year's eve in New York.
Apparently, Kangana had been reassured by the film's producers that the film would never be released because it didn't turn out the way it was expected to.
"But now the producers T Series have decided to give the film a token theatrical release to be able to release the film on satellite and dvd," says a reliable source.
The film is seen by those close to Kangana as a potential setback for the actress who is flying high with the super-success of Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
Kangana had apparently resolved to take legal action against the film's release but decided against it when advised that the producers were within their right to release the film as and when they pleased.
