A few days ago, the leaked footage from the promo went viral, with fans of the two stars mistaking it for an actual incident and this created a raging war on social media. Now that the promo has gone on air, the whole kiss and slap incident is clear. It's basically a part of the scene in which Rajeev endorses Kritika's actions and says that this slap is an answer to all those who mistreat women. Since the show delves around the news-making industry, the promo aptly establishes the plot.
Rajeev says, "The truth needs to be told. How beautifully, how effectively and how honestly, is what makes a journalist. It's not just about deliverance, it's about involvement. The promo is not bold visually, but it's bold in attitude. It involves you. The beauty is it hits you right where it should and also conveys the show's approach right in the beginning."
Kritika adds, "We don't know where this whole controversy emerged from. We were equally surprised when we saw it on the internet. The kiss and slap were part of our script and the promo is getting a great response." Reporters will start on April 13 and air Monday to Thursday at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
While Preity Zinta, Chetan Bhagat and Marzi Pestonjee have already been locked in as judges of Nach Baliye 7, the makers are now looking out for a fourth panelist, inform sources. "Since the format of the show will be different this time (with the cameras following the participating couples wherever they go) they are thinking of roping in a fourth judge.Anurag Kashyap has been approached and is likely to be finalised," says the source. Incidentally, he recently joined hands with Ekta Kapoor, who is producing the show, for Udta Punjab. This time the show will be shot at various locations and not just in a studio.

Sara Khan and Paras Chhabra, who had confirmed to be a part of the dance show have backed out, say sources. Apparently, Sara is not comfortable with the format of the show and said that she will not be able to handle the pressures of the reality show. Strange, considering Sara was part of one of the biggest reality shows Bigg Boss! However, Sara refused to comment. "There were rumours about me being a part of the show, but I don't want to talk about it," she said. But our sources tell us that the actress role in Sasural Simar Ka was on its way to winding up as she was going to be a part of Nach Baliye. "Like Shakti Arora's character which has gone missing from the serial, even her character was either going to die or go missing," informs another source.
