Aww, this was such an adorable segment. This Diwali, Mohit was in mourning, if I am not mistaken, he had lost his uncle a few months prior, but his soulmate was right there, to make his Diwali a bit happier by her mere presence. She decorated the house for the occasion, performed the puja with him, burst some crackers. Always by each others side, in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse. God bless this duo with lots and lots of happiness and a lifetime of blissful togetherness.

Ankita Lokhande has entertained one and all for many years now, with her portrayal of the lead in Balaji Telefilms' long-running show, Pavitra Rishta. Well, it is true that the whole industry awaits the comeback of this pretty damsel.

Aah, if you readers think that Ankita has been roped in by Ekta Kapoor yet again, for her upcoming show on Star Plus, then here is a bad news for all of you here.

All media reports that indicate the comeback of Ankita in their new Star show seems to be wrong.

As per a reliable source, "Ankita does not simply suit this character in the upcoming show. The girl in this show is a college going girl, and Ankita has never been approached for the role. Also, the media report claimed that the show has got its final title in Yeh Mera Pyaar, and the shoot has already begun for the same. But this is nowhere the truth, as the show is still in a very nascent stage, i.e. at the script level. In no way have we locked even one character for the show."

We hear that the entire Balaji team, including Ekta Kapoor were surprised to see such a wrong news floating in media.

The source further clarifies, "Once the script is approved, the team will proceed towards the casting phase. So there's a lot of time for this show to come on air, or even get a launch date."

We tried calling Ankita Lokhande, and even sent a her a text message, but did not get any revert.

Guess a close well-wisher of Ankita did their level best to keep Ankita in the limelight (wink).. As for Ankita, we too hope she gets back with a bang very soon!!

Neha Sargam, who was last seen in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?... Ek Baar Phir has been finalised to play the lead in Sudhir Sharma's show titled Siddhi.

We hear that the actress lost oodles of weight, seven kilos to be precise, to look the part. In the show, she plays the role of an ordinary girl, who helps people with special powers.

While Neha remained unavailable for comment, our source associated with the show, reveals, "It's a sci-fi story, a genre that has not been explored too much on Indian television. The makers are pumping in a lot of money to enhance production quality . The show will replaceMahakumbh."

Why Karanvir Bohra returned to 'Qubool Hai'?

Actor Karanvir Bohra, who plays Aahil in 'Qubool Hai', was in the news recently for quitting the show. He shot his last episode last week and had then considered it the end of his journey on the show. However, the actor has decided to revoke his decision. He confirms, "I had a meeting with the production house recently and they convinced me to stay back."

And what about rumours that his decision to quit was because of growing insecurity after the entry of another actor (Varun Toorkey) on the show? Karanvir says, "It's an ensemble cast in the show and it's obvious that there will be other actors around. It was and has never been about the other guy. I've done shows with bigger actors. I know what I can deliver and I am not insecure about anyone else. My issue was only with my role. I put in my papers because the graph of my character didn't match the narration I was given. For the past few months, my character had nothing much to do. They did not want to change the story ahead, something that I was not willing to accept. I was seeing no growth in my character. We have now discussed everything and the story ahead is very exciting. There is a lot of scope for my character. Actors are like kids, you need to excite them and hold their interest," he says.

'Dilwale' to be released this Christmas, confirms Rohit Shetty

Bringing Bollywood's most successful onscreen pair, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in his upcoming venture film Dilwale once again to the silver screen, director Rohit Shetty said the film will release on Christmas this year.

Shetty, who was in the city to attend the Goa State Film Festival, said he is currently shooting for the film.

On being delved into the details of the film, he told PTI that it's a wholesome "Rohit Shetty" film. The upcoming comedy-drama, Dilwale is produced by Shetty and Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan.
