mandy i knw u couldnt hv watched siyasat ! but by god in todays episode salim was a killer... i mean all the actors are good but salim is growing up on me... so sad he would be replaced 😭

I Have full library of hard copy and kindle copies books on akbar, mughls, their harem, their domestic life and war ... U name it i have it...

One thing which i guess , why no records of akbar's private life is, he couldnt write so he narated the event to his historians ... And we can assume he couldnt narrate his prvate life ...which was easy for babar and jqhqngir as they wrote their tuzks by them selves and humayu nama written by gulbadan a lady who spent all life in harem.

There is a book in which consist of farmans by mughal women.. This book has

Faramans of one copy mariam makani and mariam u zamani , noor jaha mumtaz mahal, jahanara and one other princes

This refrence was given by the historian in early historical lessons to teach the greatnes of the great muz ...

Now i read btw the lines which i wanted to read...

In context

First two farman by MM n MuZ comes under ... Queens mother ...not chief consort of emperor,,,,

The farman of muz which they shared also of the time, when jahangir was emperor... And only one farman ...

Also in the expalanation of this one farman writter expalain that ...no doubt Ruqayya sultan was akbar queen ...but this lady is not ruqayya bec jahangir mentioned mUz and ruqayya differently and so and so ... So now u can tell what i read btw the lines ...lols

Noor jaha and mumtaz mahal farmans come under the farmans of queen consort ... And jaha ara and other princess farman come under princess of mughal sultanat ..so botton line is Muz farman didnt come under the heading of queen consort nor it was time of reign ... It was time of his son reign ...

So this is my perceprion of read btw lines lol...

bdw the question that who was akbars cheif consort is still unanswered IMO.. ppl interpret history the way they want... some say salima was his cheif some say ruqaiyya or jodha... lets just say akbar was a workaholic... he was so busy in expanding his empire, administration, welfare of his awaam , relegious discussions n much much more... he was no lover boy like his son salim .. and here he is potrayed as majnu !!!!!!

Suno bhai straight baat hain akbar didn't had any love story bcoz he didn't had the time for one. The powers nd positions which his Queens got was not bcoz anyone was his jaan or anyone was his mohabbat. They got it bcoz akbar felt it was beneficial for the Kingdom. Nd dont forget he had to take care of his hindu awam as well nd thus jo getting sum powers was obvious so tht the message of partiality doesn't pass by. Whtever he did was pure political nd not out of any mohabbat.
