Some how I feel that he will terminate the bal vivah in an honorable manner unlike the original balak var - Anandi will be instrumental in that.

Don't have hopes in that boy's family

yeah or it could be that this time, unlike the balak var, the BV doesnt want the marriage or doesnt like her forced husband, the way A liked J

ATM it looks the same old though - what is the novelty in showing the same thing they showed when they started off - same issues are there...they almost covered everything with BH stories along with BV;s plight...ie gehna, sugna, phooli, gulli, gauri...? what more is left?

"Balika Vadhu" brought a social menace of society -- child marriage -- into the limelight, and now with an 11-year-old leap, the show makers are set to revisit the original theme of the show to highlight the plight of young brides forced into a marriage at an early age.

With the show's narrative taking a leap in March, the focus will be on protagonist Anandi's daughter Nimboli, who has been kidnapped and finds herself bound by the chains that plagued Anandi's own childhood -- child marriage.

An 11-year-old Baroda resident, Gracy Goswami has been roped in to portray the role of young Nimboli. Gracy is currently in the process of shifting base to Mumbai along with her family, who are tutoring her about child marriage.

However, Anandi, who has turned into an activist fighting for the rights of women after the leap, is unaware of what her daughter is going through.

"Balika Vadhu" was one of the flagship shows of Colors, and it has had a successful run of seven years.

I really don't understand why it had to be child marriage all over again if the intention to develop the lead for the next generation by making her go through hardships since tender age.

That worked well with Anandi

Now it is working with Chakor

So they are repeating that - Making the kid a fighter.

But I think Bal Vivah is little safer than all the other possibilities like the child being sold off into flesh trade and some unmentionable stuff🤢

J rejected his Bal Vivah but had he done it in the right way things would have been so much better.

May be they would show him annulling his marriage and there may be a bitter feud too
