I'll just say that I'm glad that Nandu FINALLY realized that she should talk first instead of rushing for Mangalore. I loved the "Man mera" sequence...rest was just blah.

Ohh and DhruLya convo- well...their conflicts are making them look interesting to me now. 😆 I can totally understand why they both feel cheated. Alya is upset that she was right about MaNan but Manik chose her insecurities and her lack of trust in him as a reason for breakup- clearly she has misunderstood Manik.

But Mukti is just mad that it's the "loser" Nandini whom Manik loves no matter what she says about being "hurt". She has always shipped Manik and Alya in her heart and this new love story came as a shock! Hell, she wasn't even that approving of Dhruv falling in "love" with Nandini, so there you have it.

Love has softened Manik in Yaariyan- Parth Samthaan

Parth Samthaan of hit MTV show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan is quite happy with the growth of his character. "I get a lot to do. I first began as a shade negative kind of guy who turns into a kind man with the same attitude due to various reasons."

So what makes your show tick? "I guess it is the chemistry, relationships and friendship among the couples. Youth friendship is still one relationship which is still kinda virgin territory in desi tv, so we have hit pay dirt there. Last but not the least we also delve into very topical youth issues i.e. gay rights and teenage pregnancy etc."

Here Mumbai based dude informs us that the audiences loved the monster and angry element in Manik (his character name) " They were more impressed by the fact that how love has softened him." When asked how the shift from modeling to acting happened and he says, "I got into acting a couple of years back with short films and love the craft. I have a long way to go. My ultimate dream is to make a huge splash on the big screen. I think I have got a good break with Yaariyan and I hope to capitalize on it."

Parth's first TV appearance was in Gumraah then he went on to do Best Friends Forever? (Both Channel V). He has also done episode's for MTV's Webbed and Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya as well. When asked about rumor that he and Yaariyan co-star Niti Taylor don't get along well? he says, "Nahi it is not that, we just hang around with different groups of friends . And most important we are through professional's when the camera is rolling.The audiences wait for Nandani (Niti) and Manik romantic scenes right!"

In closing we ask Parth about his relationship status and he says, "Although I would want to have a girl friend I just don't have the time."We hope that over time he does move from youth channel's to more mainstream channels for he is very good actor and he deserves the big canvas that Star Plus and Colors offers.
