I have been reading comments of youngsters on facebook for the past two-three years that 'Ajkal ke jamane mein kaunsi ladki virgin hai'
And i feel really ashamed after reading it that they think that Indian girls are not virgin any more.
This type of mentality will increase the crime against women.
Soon you will see those rapists saying 'Boyfriend k saath kar sakti ho hamare saath kyun nahi' ?
Why our govt. not taking a strict action against promotion of pre-marital se* in hindi movies ?
Bcoz of the impact of these movies..
If a girl is roaming with a boy then she is not a virgin and available for forced se*
If a girl is wearing a jeans then she is not virgin and available for forced se*
How shameful is that

😡

Really some men are totally shameless and insensitive.
The rapist's lawyer says that women have no place in India and that this culture is really good.

Now to abuse this nirbhaya's rapist's lawyer, some other people on social sites are bashing him by saying that his "sister/daughter etc. should be raped" so that he "realizes" the pain.

Oh really? So to punish the lawyer u rape his sister?

Shows that those opposing his statements are equally sickening.

And what's wrong with this media esp NDTV?
Why is so much coverage given to this rapist's views?

For trp?😡

STOP covering his views so extensively. We re NOT interested in knowing what he thinks🤢

regarding nibhaya's documentary i guess i have a different opinion and it's definitely not the popular one.😆
well i feel this documentary should be telecasted but definitely not on women's day and since nirbhaya's family is supporting it so i really feel we should watch it once before banning it w/o watching.

the documentary actually reflects the mindset of indian men mainly whether it's an uneducated men or those in good position with a good education. what is the difference b/w the thoughts echoed by that convict and his lawyers?? and they are just 3 ppl who have come on camera and accepted their sick mentality proudly but what about millions who share the same mindset. they need to be shown the mirror . indian men should see what majority of them thinks of women. They should feel disgusted .

one of the lawyer have clearly said he would burn his daughter alive if she ventured out at 9 with her bf.the other one compares women to a gem or a diamond an that they should be responsible for themselves. what the hell is wrong with us a a society??women went out late so she is inviting rape.this sick mentality is not just of these highly placed lawyers but many police officers, judges too share the same sentiment. i am not gonna talk about the politicians here as we all have seen their mindset and their quotes too.

the judges should see this film and realise how they have failed the women of this country. nirbhaya's case has been going on for a year in SC and till now they haven't gotten a single hearing. imagine such a high profile case & not a single hearing in 1 year. the politicians case are taken in overnight whether it's jayalalita or maya kodnani but not her. why? doesn't this show the lack of empathy from the side of judiciary??

in last 3 years not even a single accused have been hanged for rape in India even when they have confirmed punishments from the courts. isn't this the failure of our judiciary?

if we have to ban anything why not ban ppl who make such disgusting comments on women every time they are raped??why not ban owaisi , sadhvis and yogi's who spews venom every time they open their mouth??

lastly even if u ban it here in india can u stop it's telecast in london????doesn't the entire world refer to delhi as the rape capital?? it will be released in uk and in many more countries , will be available online and may be even telecasted to many other countries as well. leave the other countries don't we know what kind of thinking indian men has , most of the women in india have faced this harassment at some stage in their life whether in the bus , comments while going anywhere & much more.

i have read an article in some newspaper 2 years back around nirbhaya case only . it was based on the views of women who have come here as tourists in india and it was not limited to delhi only. they all had the same opinion on indian men and the things they have faced here , how they have been groped , 2-3 have actually been raped too. this is more shameful & defaming then a documentary film!

rapes are causing more damage to the image of india then any film!

the politicians create uproar in parliament when they don't get anything they want. for eg:- no work was done in parliament as the opposition was hellbent on modi to make a statement on muft's remark. can't they discuss why our judicial process is so slow, why rich & powerful get away with everything, why & how can we change ppl's mentality, why rape cases keep on going for years.
for once some real issues!

banning anything is definitely not a solution and even if they do have any apprehensions regarding this they should watch it first and then decide whether it should be shown or banned instead of a hasty decision.

sorry for the long rant.

megha- not only does it depend on education but the values the kid is learning from his parents and the environment surrounding him. how the father treats the mother does impact the kid and he will repeat the same thing in the future to his wife or other women thinking women are scared of men and all that nonsense or the daughter might be tortured in future by her partner...parents need to teach their kid to respect women...the father has to respect women so that the son learns how to respect women in the future...

another thing, if the rapist attacks on other women its ok but if it were women from his family then he starts getting angry and all as to why they became a victim

i heard the interview of the director of this documentary and she herself is a rape victim. she said that her biggest motivation to make this documentary was the way the indian ppl stood for that women. she said that was something that has never happened anywhere in the world . ppl standing for a stranger & gender equality . all she wanted to portray was how deep rooted this sick mentality is and not his glorification as many have been calling it.!
rape is not only india's problem but a global problem and many ppl across countries have same thoughts.
