Those "hot" videos of Ultra etc are truly disgusting. The worst thing is that they often come up as recommendations on your youtube homepage if you watch any Shemaroo, Ultra films at all. 😒🤢

A lot of stuff on YT is wrong. Totally wrong.

Be it violent, sexual or propagandist.

Worse thing is that they do not seem to take action. Many have reported and complained but no avail.

Yes severus is right. These romantic/hot videos even pop up as recommendations! 🤢

Okay let's discuss some lighter topic.

Why is no newbie able to make a mark and dislodge Khans and other seniors?

The last time a newbie made earth shattering impact was HR in KNPH.

Why we do not have phenomena like MPK now? A surprise super success that changes trends and also makes industry keep aside oldies and look to newbies?

None of today's young stars are able to give even a film that is atleast among top 5 hits of the year let alone an ATBB!

Is it the actors to blame or the weekend phenomenon of judging films on basis pf opening and not giving them time to pick up on basis of WOM?
Even new filmmakers aren't making a mark like say Sooraj Barjatya did.

It seems the Khans totally control Bollywood. There are cliques and if you are not a part of the clique, then tough luck.

There is a lot of mafia money coming in especially from our innocent neighbours. I've heard that the first week or two, it's only the stars' fanclubs that make up the numbers.

Then there's a whole new business model with multiplexes. People often go to watch films in these and then wonder how the film is making hundreds of crores when the theatre is virtually empty.

And one wonders if the box office figures are even true. The couple of websites that give out figures are also controlled by these people themselves or they have contacts.

Recently after that Krrish controversy, I think every film's figures were revised long after it left the theatres. Dhoom3, HNY all of their figures were lowered by 40-50 crores.

I think the distributors are the best people who know the real insides of the industry. But of course they won't really talk to the media.

I heard that no distributor was willing to touch HNY and still the film made a few hundred crores. It's a murky business.
