Rohtak rape is a double shame because police attitude was pathetic. They did not register complaint. It means they were hand in glove with culprits or supplying them girls like pimps themselves. 😡

Shame does not end. 8 year old waa raped by a labourer in Bangalore. 20 year old tourist from Japan was raped in Jaipur. Another married woman was raped in a moving bus in Delhi. All in one day. 🤢

And police is boozing or what? Politicians too busy in foreign trips and show offs or in winning elections. Men as usual are shameless and have no control.

For the first time Uber has had to put panic button in their cars and it happened only due to rape in India. It is making international headlines and people are calling India as Rapeistan! 😡

No one even knows about skulls found in Ganga. 😲 Where did so many human skulls come from? Murders? Mass encouters? Or perhaps human sacrifices performed by crazy tantriks? Why that matter is hush hush?

i agree with u on separatist part. they take everything which is freely available here in our country & then abuse also.

This guy gives some good arguments.

We have to realise that in a country of a billion people, there was 1 nirbhaya case and a few more heinous rapes.

I know for one that in Chandigarh, most rape cases are false with women filing cases when their relationships go sour.

It's unreasonable to call India a rape country.

The US has a far higher rape percentage. Even college campuses are not safe for women there.

Japan has mass groping in public transport. There's a term called chikan there.

In addition, I have copied this comment by a girl called Deepika Narayan Bharadwaj on youtube.

NOW - to add on to your data, in my awesome country, educated, learned, "SANE" mind women file rape after years of live in if the union doesn't result into marriage.

I wonder if any other country has this sick "Rape on pretext of marriage" thing which currently forms anything between 30-60% of reported rape cases in various parts of the country. An article reported, in Pune, 90% of cases were like that. Today we have street fights reported as outraging modesty cases, property disputes as rape cases, and I am not talking in air but I regularly read the JUDGMENTS reported in various courts.

PITY some people in an attempt to get eyeballs are making these sick videos LIFESPAN of which is : Make - Put on Youtube - Go Viral - Media - Back to Business! I wish this girl went to a slum and told the women over there, do they report if something happens to them and if not - WHY? Shoot that perhaps and put it online rather than this sleazy "EVERY MAN IS LIKE THIS" kinda video. ON THE CONTRARY - we have absolutely no RECORD of crimes that women commit against men - a MAJOR one of which is FALSE ACCUSATION.

So many are being LEGALLY RAPED today for crime that they did not do - be it False dowry cases or Rape cases or any other CAW section. What about this minority that's constantly becoming a majority? AREN'T these women an EQUAL perpetrator of injustice to women. I read so many cases where women murder their husbands with help of their paramours.

MEDIA doesn't show these cases. We don't want to read those cases. No one gives a DAMN about those cases. WORST we don't have a single law where a man could report physical/mental violence by his partner/spouse. While we have dozens of laws to protect women, we have none for MEN. Suicide rates in India of Men is double that of women.

No wants to KNOW WHY! Financial mostly they say - but who was he not able to maintain financially? His family or just himself! Family problems are easily said to be reason behind their suicide. But who pushed them to that brink? THIS WHOLE society has become as if THE ONLY CRIME happening today is Crime Against Women. People are dying of poverty/hunger/disease and what not but HEY...WHY THE HELL DID YOU SEE MY LEG ...

I do not agree majority of rape cases are fake. That is an excuse invented by men to prevent stricter anti rape laws.

And especially cases like recent Rohtak rape are crystal clear.

Rape entails stigma for victim in India. No serious, sane girl would simply lie about it.

As it would bring questioning, stigma and ignominy to her too.

Fake rape cases are still far and few in between.

I can talk about Chandigarh because I read the local papers. Straightaway on reading the news, you can tell if it is a real case or not.

There have been maybe 2-3 real cases here in 1 year. ANd most committed on slum dweller women by their neighbours.

The rest were filed by women when their relationship didn't culminate into marriage.

There is a problem when a woman's word is taken at face value. Even in the Rohtak sisters case, where the girls beat up the guys over seats, with the media hype, the case was fast-tacked and the boys lost the chance to sit for the Army exams.

But once, several witnesses came up, the case has been put on the Indian judicial backburner which as we all know can take decades.

There is a stigma attached to live-in relationships also still many women in Chandigarh itself are in these relationships.

I can tell you about a village in Punjab where I have got some relatives and you get to hear some gossip. It's a tiny village of 800 and recently 3 women there left their children and husband to elope with their lovers.

Now, in such a conservative society as rural Punjab, there is a huge stigma attached. Still it did not stop these women.

How many cases of adultery come up before the judiciary. Are these women not engaging in extramarital relationships notwithstanding the stigma?

What we need is effective judiciary where cases will be decided in a couple of years max. Tougher rape laws are fine but the under riding assumption in law is "innocent until proven guilty"

the pace of judiciary is slower then snail. ppl die but their cases are still goin on.

in nirbhaya case despite all the media coverage , outrage the accused have still not been hanged as their hearing is still going on in SC. just imagine what happens to those hundreds of cases where there is no coverage, where the accuses openly threatens the victim & pressurise them too.

How did Delhi vote for AAP in such overwhelming majority again?

Despite all their blunders and no experience?

I think other parties ganged up against BJP and BJP itself had infighting which resulted in this.

Kiran Bedi lost on that seat which BJP had traditionally been winning. This shows BJP loyalists were disgruntled.

I cannot believe freebies are more important to people. AK has no governance skills either except giving dharnas.

Still people voted?

Anyway I feel it is a good jolt for Modi and Amit Shah. They should know simply Brand Modi cannot win them elections.
