@maddy: its name menthol. Its color transparent like salt but not like grain. U just give it in boiling water n take smell. The smell of menthol has strong flame which wl make fresh ur frm inner of nose to head. In any pharmecy it should b remained.

For sore throat just try this - eat turmeric powder about 1-2 pinches or 1/4th spoon put it on tongue and slowly it will go down the throat. Do not drink any water after that for sometime. Your throat will feel better soon. Do this esp at night.

Will try ur remedy. Now a days drinking milk with turmeric before going to bed so that I can sleep well.

Maddy - for cough this works for me.. Pepper + Honey + turmeric powder..I take this 3 times a day when I have cough
