Happy with the promo timing -- esp needed when all other serials in the 8 O'clock slot are losing their steam or just beginning..

Tina, my poor parents are at the receiving end today. 😆

To add to everything, my Dad makes toasts for everyone at breakfast, and he was merrily reading the newspaper, after spending inordinate time trying to find bandaid and ointment for my thumb and my mom forgot to saute the veggies after insisting that she will take care of it...😃. All because everyone thought there was enough time, since I had taken bath early...

As for the thumb, who knows. Will come to know a couple days later, when it starts healing...

Was just thinking of the same..All 8 pm slots are coming up with new stuff.

Last weekend caught 1 episode of Mahakumbh...Don't know how the rest of it will be, but found the first one to be very weak on plot...

I mean something that starts out on such a weak premise, hopefully will get stronger especially since they have spent so much money on it.

Surekha Sikri has been with Balika Vadhu for almost eight years and people have loved her performance. Her character in the show is probably as important as Anandi (Toral Rasputra).
According to the recent khabar, it seems Surekha has been offered a role in Gautam Rode's Mahakumbh. Surekhaji will be donning a very different avatar for this role. She will be the one to guide Rudra - Rode's character in the show in his future endeavours.
However, we wonder how Surekhaji will manage both the shows. Frankly, wethinks it's about time she quit Balika Vadhu and moved on to better projects and Mahakumbh is the perfect opportunity.
BV started in 2008 and the makers have managed to prolong it successfully for so long. However, with actors constantly quitting the show, we don't think it's wise to stick around, right? It seems Surekhaji still has to give an answer to the production house of Mahakumbh.
