It is the treatment and journey of the women that makes the serials interesting.

I see reflections of DadiSa of BV in BhaiyaJi of Udaan, in the older son (name???) in TSHJA

I see reflections Basant in the Judge of Udaan (collector's father), in Mariam's Bhabhi (name???) in TSHJA

Bhairon = Collector in Udaan = Dadaji in TSHJA

Anandi = Chakor = Najma = girls not willing to be chained but who will soar and change people and things around them

But cannot agree DSa and Younis Miyaah, being compared to Bhaiyaji 😆

Dsa and Younis are much more human than Bhaiyaji...I cannot at all relate to Bhaiyaji, the way I could to the former 2, even in their meanest avatars...In other words, I do not like Bhaiyaji's character , but cannot dislike Dsa and Younis Miyaah...😆

And Dadaji...is just a class apart...me talking in terms of how he reacts to a situation before him and the elderly warmth he exudes.. ⭐️😳

In any case, I get the point you are trying to make., If I u/stood it right...

Every story needs Protagonists, Antagonists and supporting cast for its development and those above characters hold their respective positions in each of these shows...😊

Yeah, the motive of the fabric ( empowering a girl, her dream ) may have been the same...but what I'am impressed with the show is its construction / weave.

How, the little girl's passion for a sport in an environment which is not at all conducive to her, lead to betterment of 3 lives in a very direct manner , and many more in an in direct manner.

The show is not about Najma, playing tennis and her winning trophies...and we getting to watch every step of her sport.

But it is a simple tale told of dynamics of care, love and emotions between 2 sets of neighbours., thru all their merits, de merits as humans.

A tale told of a Teacher who is broken and a lost soul, still, empowering the thought process and passion respectively of two of his neighbours, them being the Healers to his heart and soul., in return.

Many may feel, the pace is very slow ...but that is what has been liked by me the most. There are no overt dramatics at any point of time in the show. It just gets on leisurely, as if the events are taking place right in front of our eyes...e/thing single emotion relate able with a middle class life.

And then the beauty of dialogues ! ...even those of simple conversations that take place.

Not to forget, the excellence of direction. Every scene ( apart from those of fillers ) having a beginning, middle and an end to them...with nothing waiting for a closure for long. Crisp and to the point.

The manner in which a racquet, a daawat, a gullak, jewellery , a tiffin box, a meal, a pair of sport shoes etc., etc., have all become threads , to weave an engaging story.

We were to go to movie PK closer to that place...

Could not as Husband was working today and he returned home only around 8 ...
