The TV show Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, which revolved around protagonist Nisha and her trials and tribulations, will go off air in April.

The show that started in August 2014, failed to strike a chord with viewers and so the channel has decided to end it. A source said, "It was a different concept and revolved around the youth of our country, but somehow people seem to like watching regular family drama shows on TV more than anything else."

Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Manmarziyan, a show which has Ahem Sharma (who played Karna from Mahabharat) in the lead, will replace it.

Read about it in the papers today. It's a nice show with good performances. Unfortunately the TRP audience likes only the usual drama.

yes Anu agree... its very low on drama qoutient especially for prime time ...although this is only the second daily soap i watched after qh that too last four month only ... and TRP audience likes ott drama i realize lots of it ! it was a nice light show till the last month when it kind of went the zoyaan way ...till then i enjoyed the family bonding with some nice acting ! i would look forward to aneri's next show and taher's too !

trp is not that bad too, na Anu.

It is doing quite well with the current track. But beyond Nisha's love story, I am not sure if it has anything to offer.🤔

Hats off to makers of shows like Udaan ...who can make it interesting even without a love story. 😃

soup the love story began only in nov ...and it was one sided ..more like infatuation ...but the context of sports was nice and i enjoyed it ...i thought they would continue with the sports and her ambition of becoming a shooter .Begrudgingly i have to confess even though i liked their love story ..they could have done without it ...or rather without disturbing the core !

anyway its good they are not stretching it any longer after the huge faux pas with the community marriage angle !

anu i saw Interstellar and the Imitation game . The latter i felt could have done with more intrigue and i felt some places drama was forced but very enjoyable fare . Nolan ...im very biased but i have to admit that i had to pause in between and needed reference work to enjoy the full movie and had a great time discussing it with hubby and dwelling into the realms of time ! It is a gem ...i found it more interesting than gravity ! my faith in nolan restored yet again !

QH season 3 begins ...and we all wait !
