After watching the last few episodes I feel that Upen is taking this game to a personal level.
He is angry that he was made to shut up on weekend. He is venting it out on the housemates. He is cranky.
Also Salman Khan gave the advice to Pritam to be a hero and not a joker. Upen probably took this advice seriously.
Added to that, Diandra (who is considered a strong player) left. Upen probably is shocked why people on his side are leaving all the time. He probably even thought Gautam might leave as Gautam was looking bad as per feedback in the end of Diandra-gautam romance angle.
So now instead of competing with anybody, Upen directly picked the strongest contestant. That strongest contestant is Gautam. This is where upen will get maximum footage and importance.
Upen will probably continue to irritate/confront/compete with Gautam till either Upen is evicted or till Gautam is shown negatively at some point. If Upen is not evited before weekend, he will continue this trend and on weekend he will wait to hear if he was able to make a dent in Gautam's popularity.
He is picking smaller fights with everyone else as well, but the most annoying ones and bigger ones are with Gautam.
I hope Gautam will handle it with strength. Gautam has been strong and composed till now. I dont want Gautam to cry and appear as though he is weak. Any other contestant will easily take advantage of this. First ones would be P3 to take advantage of this. Gautam has to be strong.
