Sorry. I do not want to disturb anyone's fun or dictate. But threads should not veer like this. I mean I myself cannot recognise what is going on? New members tell me they do not understand what is going on and cannot make head or tail of the thread.

I am glad to see members so friendly and at home here. But please let others feel at home as well.

Time and time again only gender or family issues get discussed or same old MB. We have male members and members of other interests too who may not be able to relate to it at all.

From No Nonsense it has become something else.

I once again request members to please keep topics diverse and accessible. Maybe one topic a day or week? At least discussion will be organised and everyone can keep track. Members can decide topic by mutual consent.

Let's make it less hotch potch.

BTW I also notice new members or non members posting here. Sorry but that is against rules. You hsve ti be added in members before you can post. And for that you need to PM me as admin. I have resisted till now but I will have to report to mods if a non member posts here again without approval.

I am not going to make new threads every 2 weeks for only meandering. Nor explain newbies again and again on what this thread is all about. Since even I cannot figure it out anymore.

There is a marked difference in first thread and this one. Sorry to say it's not a positive difference.

Even if I make new group on other site, I can do so only if discussions are organised.

Please cooperate to keep thread recognisable, accessible to all.

Finally please send me email IDs those who have not sent yet. So that I can send new group invite.

Group sites are anyway more organised than a single thread here. No spies either.

Really sorry anu ! I guess we went too far away discussing that saas -bahu ki ladai.

My mistake. I started that topic, such a stupidity I did. I shall never do that again.

Regarding groups on other sites, I don't just think I'll be able to join some social networking sites if it is one like FB. 😒

And once again, can you please forgive me for stupidity we carried out in the last pages.

Now this is a tricky situation.

First of all apologies to the TM and the new members who had to complain about the messy state of affairs in this thread. I think one topic- one day/week idea is really good but to make every member associated with the topic anchor post must be edited every day/week. Is that possible ?

Secondly, how do we select the topics ? We are not MPs in the parliament who have thousand of issues to be discussed one after another. If the topic has to be selected with the consent of the majority of the members then this problem is not going to solve. We will discuss topics like MB again because it obviously has takers. I tried bringing new topics like politics in AMU university or cricket but they obviously die out following lack of interest. Along with male members we also have teenage members here who are hardly interested in a news channel discussion😆 (no offense intended)

Thirdly, the hotch potch situation is not intentional. Please take into account that people here belong to different nations with different time zones. People here come online when they can. Setting time limit of one day will debar them from joining the discussion and making it one week discussion will be boring for those who are regular here. . Thus, this confusion is almost inevitable. Do we have any other option here ?

Fourthly, it is advisable for the new members here to introduce themselves formally before joining the discussion. As we know IF allows members to change their username it is difficult to understand if the member is a new one or an old member with a different username.

Fifthly, lets not congratulate or celebrate personal occasions here. They take too many pages and a new member will not be able to understand it properly. The anchor thread instead can be edited to congratulate any member or members may use PM to wish each other.

Lastly lets use @ option instead of the Quote button. This way the page looks less messy and the replies remain accessible.

These are just opinions . I hope I didn't end up hurting anyone here.

I am not good at maintaining social websites at all. I joined IF because it gave me a chance to discuss the show I like and point out what I don't like in a show. With EHT ending and TMKOC going down to dogs there is nothing much to do here in this forum.Besides, the next month is going to be a busy one for me.I don't think I will join the new chat group in any new website but I really hope to see you guys in some other forum.

Since it is the last thread of 'No Nonsense viewers Circle' on IF lets make most of it.

I agree with some of your points Debs.

But newbies get confused even after introducing themselves.

Time zones are different but it does not mean threads can go haywire. In fact those in different time zone cannot make out what's going on here.

A few members here have habit of discussing personal life issues, events which I feel meanders thread more.

Other site will not be complicated. Just a simple, private group. But if you or others do not want to give id to join then your choice.

For teeny bopper members we cannot have same discussion all the time. Though I feel this CC has mostly mature members.

Topic of the day is for whole day so their time zone gets covered too. It is atleast better than jumping from EHT to YHM to Everest to Christmas to shopping to Bollywood to TMKOC to jobs and personal life.

No offense but I myself don't understand what goes on here. Last 3 threads were disappointing. Before you realise, it's over and new thread is made only to wander here and there again and end by spamming in 2 weeks.
