Amitabh Bachchan had given 12 consecutive flops before his first big hit Zanjeer. He age was 31 years when Zanjeer released. Kumar Gaurav's first film, Love Story was a huge hit. He was lost into oblivion after that. In spite of having a film background, it took Saif Ali Khan nearly a decade to find his feet in Bollywood with Dil Chahta Hain.Imran Khan debuted with a hit movie and was once considered to be Ranbir's strongest competitor. Today, Ranbir is right there at the top while Imran is languishing in the rut in spite of being Aamir's nephew. My point is that nothing can guarantee an individual's success in Bollywood which is an extremely dicey place where the wheels of fortune can turn anytime. For a complete outsider like Sobti, even gaining a foothold will not be easy. As his fan, let's just go with the flow without constantly thinking of the commercial aspect of the movie. As serendipity235 said in one of the earlier post, Sobti had to start from the scratch and at this point it is more important for him to get noticed by people who matter rather than how big hit or flop MAMR will be. It's encouraging to see that prominent journalists like Faridoon Shahryar already enquiring about his immense popularity or MAMR's trailer getting a positive response despite the film being in the backburner for such a long time. Let's just keep faith in this incredibly talented actor and believe that with little luck, things will surely fall into place.

And yes, before I go back to my hibernation phase of silently reading the posts, I would like to thank all the members for their warm welcome in the previous thread (or was it the previous to previous thread?).
