OMG Wasna is back on television after so long and to top it off, Karan is being taken seriously to get another lead show.

I really want this show to work for them

Karan Sharma and Wasna Ahmed in a Star Plus show

Television actors Karan Sharma (Ekk Nayi Pehchaan) and Wasna Ahmed (Shree) have been signed to play leads in an upcoming Star Plus project.

The yet to be titled show will be the remake of popular Bengali soap Ishti Kutum airing on Star Jalsha.

The venture is being produced by a new international production house named White Horse Productions.

The daily will soon go on floors and is expected to hit screens at the prime time slot in a month or two.

The plot will capture the life of a tribal girl moving to a metropolitan city.

Karan and Wasna remained out of reach.

Sony PAL to shut on 13 February?

Sony PAL, the new GEC from MSM, which went on air from 1 September 2014, as per sources, is all set to shut shop on 13 February 2015.

The channel launched with a bouquet of new shows but never managed to gain momentum in the TRP race.

Shows were pulled off air in a jiffy and since quite some time there have been speculations of the channel being pulled off air.

Now, the inevitable has finally happened and as per our credible sources, the channel will shut on 13 February.

The makers of current ongoing shows have been informed about the development and they have been asked to air their last episode on the above mentioned date.

When we buzzed channel head Anooj Kapoor, he said, "Currently, I am drafting a press release and you all will come to know about it tomorrow morning."

Watch. You'll be hooked on Empire. I guarantee it. i watched all four episodes over the weekend, and if I had time I would rewatch them. It's not climbing up in ratings for no reason.

Love that tv now has more diversity, and all the suits, execs and shorunners who were so adamant such shows wouldn't do well, can just take a seat.

But really it's great. It's a nighttime soap, watch it as that genre, and you will enjoy it.

Taraji P Henson owns that show. Her character is really the backbone and main draw, imo. Her and Jamal are really the only rootable characters, but even then I still can watch the other characters and even like them.😆

Galavant, is eight episode-series. I like it, it's a tongue in cheek musical comedy. It's not serious, but there are little jokes. It's finished its firsst season now. It's a nice watch.

Oh you're talking about Empire, girl is already my new guilty pleasure, I'm hooked from episode 1.

Taraji, is doing her finest work in her career as Cookie. I didn't get it when you said Cookie Lyons, cause I forgot her full name. The character is so crazy and so true to herself you can't help but love Cookie.

I'm glad Taraji, took the role, even though she said she'll pass if Terence Howard, wasn't playing Lucious. Great call, cause they're just fantastic on screen.

Love Jamal and Cookie relationship and all the actors in there roles were cast well

Lik, I still can't believe FOX, renewed Empire for season 2, after episode 2 aired 👏

Empire is taking FOX, to where Shonda took ABC, with Scandal

Yeah. They did something similar with Sleepy Hollow last season, they renewed it by the time the third episode aired. But then the show went haywire...with different showrunners and focus on Katrina and Cranes and idiocy and less on the characters which made the show.

But with last week, it seems the show has started to correctits mistakes. I stopped watching early this season but started watching again with last week (even if it was problematic and ridiculous with its Temple of Doom callback)

But still, it's nothing like Empire. Empire is awesome. SH is decent

Remember though Fox had a good number of diverse programming in the 90s.Living Single, Martin It's only as the 2000s ushered, maybe with it competing with the major networks, that it became less diverse.

But yeah I'm hooked to Empire. Hooked!

By the way, it worked out damn well for Taraji after Person of Interest. BooYah!
