Gosh it was so annoying how people were shedding buckets for him in QH forum the other day. I mean it's not like I don't sympathise with him but the constant rotlu and bechaara expressions kinda put me off. It doesn't help that Shehzaad ain't the best actor...

TBH I think the only reason people sympathise with Rehaan is because of Shehzaad's good looks. People seem to overlook the fact that he is a bystander in his mom's schemes. In short, people lose all objectivity when it comes to rotlu Rehaan. 😛

And people think Sanam is boring? Yeah she isn't your typical bubbly and hyper 4 Lions female lead and is not like Zoya. Those are the same people who complain that all Gul's heroines are the same, bubbly. 😆 I actually think her character is a refreshing change from the same old...plus she has a backbone FOR once.

I like Seher a lot, but not because she is like Zoya because IMO she is nothing like Zoya except her habits. People relive Zoya vicariously through Seher. And that is the reason why so many want Rehaan and Sanam to be paired, so they can relive Asad Zoya through them. 😛

My two cents. Please share your opinion and be objective please...I couldn't type all this in that forum cause I don't want to be mobbed...

LOL..I don think i can give my objective opinion cos i haven't watched half the episodes..I watch here & there and initially liked Rehaan only for his bgm ( the Ayaan-Humeira one which is frankly the best bgm of QH IMO 😳 ) 😆 And no, he doesn't remind me of Asad in any way..Asad is actually my favorite 4 Lions lead so i wouldn't ever compare him with Rehaan tbh 😆 And like i said, i have a thing for unrequited love so i automatically sympathize with Rehaan..Oh and the way he asked Dilshad's permission..I loved all that he said in that scene 😆 I have always felt Rehaan will back off the moment Ahil makes it clear that he loves Sanam..I think he still harbours a hope cos Aahil makes it look like he hates Sanam & refuses to answer any of his questions..I might be wrong here cos i don watch half the episodes 😆

I think ppl in general prefer ditzy, clumpsy or full of life heroines..They find it entertaining i guess? So thats probably why they prefer Sehar over Sanam..For me personally, i'd prefer bubbliness in moderation..I loved Khushi but she was so embarrassing in a few scenes..So yeah, controlled bubbliness with self-respect will be the perfect combo 😆 Not sure if ppl re-live Zoya through Sehar cos i was one of those who found Zoya pretty annoying on a lot of occasions 😆

You're right, Rehaan still harbours feelings for Sanam and that's pretty clear. His character is an enigma and hard to judge ATM so I don't know if he will back off when Aahil claims his love for Sanam...

Khushi is my fav 4 Lions heroine but I also cringed at some of her antics at times. 🤢 I would also prefer bubbliness in moderation with self-respect.

I just find it funny how people can like Asad so much but when it comes to female version of Asad they can't like her (not taking about you :P ). Double standards much? But like you said, people prefer full of life female characters.

The reason why I like Sanam so much is because she has oodles of self-respect and has this intensity within her. Plus she doesn't shy away and act all coy in romantic scenes (which just ANNOYS me). I liked her earthiness.

You found Zoya annoying, but those people didn't. 😆 It's no coincidence that most of the season 1 fans prefer Seher over Sanam...

Yup..Rehaan is not half as intense as Asad..And AAK was always a man of principles..He wouldn't ever let his mom plot & scheme and stand like a mute spectator..

I do think he'l back off tbh..Tannu made it look like its a contract marriage & Aahil is also desperate to prove that Sanam doesn't matter to him so Rehaan was probably still hoping that he has a chance 😆

I think thats the issue..Ppl in general prefer brooding, intense guys over happy go lucky ones & bubbly girls over silent ones 😆 Its just the way it works..Like for me, i cant stand guys like Armaan but i totally dig intense ( but not abusive) guys like Asad..With the girls, i'd rather they have enough self-respect to stand up for themselves..Doesn't matter if they are bubbly or intense cos Indian Telly is full of doormats 😆

I cant believe ppl compare Rehaan-Sehar with Asad-Zoya..The AsYa fan in me takes strong offence 😲😆 KSG is a way better actor, Asad was the better written character, they had better chemistry & am biased 😆

True. People have always preferred it that way. I also prefer intense over happy go lucky guys (who annoy the hell outta me). But I don't mind strong silent female leads (cause am sick of the same old bubbly girl), plus it is a huge bonus how Sanam has self-respect...

OMG dude same I also took offence to that. Shehzaad and Surbhi have no chemistry whatsoever according to me. 😆 They look like siblings...you are a biased AsYa fan 😛 but I don't find you biased here. 😆

Plus I don't really think Rehaan and Seher will actually be paired like people are speculating. I got no premonition of that. Knowing 4 Lions and Gul Khan, they ALWAYS give a premonition when their couples are going to be paired. Didn't see that with SeHaan.

And honestly I wouldn't mind if Rehaan character goes black. I have a thing for good-looking male villains. I've had enough of vamps in QH.

Good looking villain Rehaan any day over rotlu bechaara Rehaan for me. 😛

EDIT: so now Rehaan being a mute spectator is being justified as being "real" and "fallible" 🤣

EDIT 2: Check Vicky's post in QH forum and see how right I am. Hate how she is comparing Rehaan with Asad. 😡

I think Rehaan was just overwhelmed to know he is not an orphan & Beghum Sahiba is actually his real mom 😆 So he ends up protecting her even when he knows she is wrong.I think he also dislikes how she treats Aahil..I have noticed a couple of instances where he looked displeased..Again am not sure cos i have missed a lot of episodes..And i felt sorry for him when he told Sanam that he'l talk to Tannu about something but Sanam responded saying ' She din listen to her own son Ahil, why will she listen to you?' or something on those lines ..Not sure 😆 It must be tough to live the life of an orphan when you know your mom is alive..About Shahzaad & Surbhi, i think the issue is that the former is a pretty limited actor..If only he acted well, he could have done so much with Rehaan's role 😆 No idea about Rehaan & Sehar ..Gul atleast seems to be set on Aahil-Sanam this time..Unlike QH 1 where we always lived under the fear of ZoYaan 😆

Sonia, I like Rehaan because I haven't watched a lot of QH2😆

I dunno if he's mopey, unreasonable or worse.

I think the guy is good looking and sweet. Whatever opinion I have is mostly based on what I saw in the beginning when Aahil was a jerk.

I do not ship Sanam and Rehaan anymore. Its ridiculous to do that.

When I heard of Seher, I immediately told Ranji that she probably could be paired with Rehaan. But now I dunno coz his character, like you said, is still an enigma.

I like the guy and nothing more than that. He might be right or wrong, justified, obnoxious, I don't really care nor am I gonna bash or support him.😆

I must belong to that minority who prefers Sanam over Seher.

Sanam is such a change from what the previous leads were and I like that a lot. I also like how she calls him Aahil. It sounds really nice😳

I find Seher's gum chewing habit annoying and it puts me off everything else.😆

To offer an opinion on their characters would be wrong since I don't follow it much. I'm just a random viewer who goes and checks out scenes if someone praises or disses them.
